I disagree. Ecuador was being neutral and then they started making money by siding with the west against Russia... should Russia ignore this?

Should Russia reward Ecuador for helping the US arm Kievs forces trying to murder not just Russian soldiers but also Russian civilians?

I read an article on a news website with a Swiss official who claimed that Switzerland was still a neutral country and people should still invest and bank their money there, but just because the Swiss have joined economic sanctions against Russia does that mean they have to lose their neutral status?

Of course it does because the meaning of the word neutral means not picking sides whether it is in your interests or not.

The leader of Ecuador said what they were sending was scrap and was not worth anything but they were getting 200 million dollars worth of US equipment to replace it... why would scrap need to be replaced?

Remember that the US spent a lot of money getting in leadership here so that they would turn over Assange to them. The present guy is just a successor in that group.

SITUATION AT 15:00

Enemy TG channels indirectly confirm our missile strike on enemy personnel at the Selidovo training ground.

At the moment, communications and the Internet are completely cut off in the city. The city is closed for at least a day. According to the latest data, the removal of 200 and 300 units continues.

The Russian Air Force has destroyed an underground command post of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Avdeevka with FABs (high-explosive aerial bombs)

The first results of the massive FAB-1500 strikes on the AFU's most serious fortification became known today. It is reported that about 10 officers of the AFU and Special Operations Forces were killed, more than 20 wounded.

The strike was carried out by the Russian Armed Forces on 11 February by several gliding bombs at once.

Heavy fighting is also reported near Industrialnaya Street in the Avdeevka direction. It is assumed that Russian army will manage to reach it by night. This will mean that the enemy grouping in the southern part of Avdeevka may be completely encircled.

$200 million USD for selling to the US the Russian weapons to send to Ukraine. To probably buy less weapons for more from the US. And losing Banana exports to Russia. What a great deal for Ecuador.

Nothing really. But of course Russia needs to establish some kind of repercussions for this sort of thing, reselling Russian weapons without license to do so and sending them to a country Russia is at war with to boot, so that it stops happening. Stopping Ecuador's banana exports was just a convenient way of doing it. If Russia continues to let them step over it, it will just get stepped all over.

Maybe among these is the attack on the HQ with the multi FAB-1500 bombs I mentioned in Post 484, the blasts look big enough.

Seems strange to have a training ground so close to the front line, so probably just a large area of hardstanding. Seems to be a huge blunder/arrogance/ignorance to gather that many troops together like that in the days of cluster munitions and pervasive Intel gathering. The kind of sitting ducks that no opposition commander believes he will ever see again. Doubles all round up the Russian command chain, toasting their luck.

A blow to the training ground in Sedidovo. It is known that at the time of the strike, up to 1,500 Ukrainian soldiers could be at the facility, who arrived for exercises and further reinforcement of their forces in Avdiivka.

MLRS "Smerch" and "Tornado-S", as well as the Iskander-M missile defense system, inflicted a massive blow on a large training ground and logistics hub of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Selidovo at the time of deployment of a large motorized infantry formation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine numbering up to a regiment (1,500 people), deployed to unlock the Avdiivka fortified area.

Initially, batteries of 152-mm Msta-B howitzers and Hyacinth-S self-propelled guns with Tornado-G MLRS worked on the territory of the landfill, located 25 km from the line of contact, using 3-O-23 and 9M217/218 projectiles with cluster warheads based on cumulative fragmentation warheads elements.

Then 300-mm 9M55K/K5 guided missiles and 9M549 guided Smerch/Tornado-S systems with 9H235 fragmentation and cumulative fragmentation warheads were struck.

Next, 9M723-1K5 missiles with 9H722K5 cluster warheads based on 54 fragmentation warheads with an altitude range of 1400 - 900 m and a detonation height of 6-10 m submunitions were struck.

The enemy unit - "Omega" confirms that the Russian Armed Forces cut off Avdeevka from AKHZ and reached Industrial Avenue in the gas station area.

In Avdeevka is not the same story. DPR army is taken no prisoners. Those were lucky to be in Kleshcheevka

The Ecuadorian government should be glad that Russia isn´t like the US.
Otherwise Ecuador would have a problem until Russia had some bases in the country.
