Just depends on what you expect from "society".
If you expect every man for themselves and let the weak die then it does not make sense for people to collectively look after their fellow man through free education for everyone that wants it and free health care for those that need it.
Call it communism or call it socialism... I am happy to pay for free healthcare and free education for everyone in my taxes.
Such an image is amusing, but I have the sneaking suspicion that it was created for the extreme right wing who generally already have more money than they deserve and don't need to worry about education or health costs...
Not all rich people are right wing of course...

Re: Western propaganda
I hope you all enjoy this as much as i did. Propaganda machine at its finest.
"Searching for possible explanations, we encountered a training manual of the former Russian KGB.8 According to this manual, KGB operatives were instructed to keep their weapon in their right hand close to their chest and to move forward with one side, usually the left, presumably allowing subjects to draw the gun as quickly as possible when confronted with a foe. Indeed, under “Chapter 2–Movement,” the manual gives the following instruction: “When moving, it is absolutely necessary to keep your weapon against the chest or in the right hand. Moving forward should be done with one side, usually the left, turned somewhat in the direction of movement.” We wondered whether this could explain President Putin’s gait, since he had received KGB training earlier in life.9 If this were true, then it would be reasonable to expect a similar gait “abnormality” in other Russian officials who might have received similar instruction during weapons training by the KGB or other military or intelligence agencies. We therefore performed a YouTube search for videos of other Russian officials, with surprising results."
"Case 1: Vladimir Putin (president of Russia)
Video 1 (http://bcove.me/6dnnnqzp), segment 1 shows Putin walking with a virtually absent right arm swing along the red carpet in the Kremlin. Segment 2 confirms the consistency of this finding, several years earlier, making it unlikely that an intermittent problem (such as a painful shoulder) explained the arm swing reduction. Segment 3 shows Putin displaying his considerable judo skills, excluding marked paresis or a chronic orthopaedic problem as cause of the asymmetrically reduced arm swing (which is again clearly discernible in this video). A diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease is unlikely, because other video material (segments 4-6) show no evidence of tremor, handwriting is fast without evidence of micrographia, right hand movements are agile, and Putin has no difficulty lifting weights with both arms. He is also an excellent swimmer, with symmetrical arm movements (http://www.theguardian.com/world/2009/aug/06/vladimir-putin-butterfly-stroke). This movement pattern persisted unchanged over several years, which is inconsistent with a neurodegenerative disorder such as Parkinson’s disease. The handwriting suggests that Putin is right handed (segment 4)."
"Case 2: Dmitry Medvedev (current prime minister)
Medvedev has not received formal military training,10 but, when walking on the red carpet during his presidential inauguration, his right arm swing was markedly reduced (video 2 (http://bcove.me/k8xj9xvy), segment 1). In segment 2, Medvedev and Putin are walking side by side, both with a clearly reduced right arm swing. A commentary noted that Medvedev was “trying to ape Putin’s macho gait.”11 Medvedev’s reduced arm swing is also clearly visible in segment 3, where Medvedev proposes Putin for president for the upcoming elections. Medvedev has no difficulty lifting weights with both arms, excluding a structural right arm problem (video 1, segment 6). Like Putin, Medvedev seems right handed (video 2, segment 4)."

Yet again, the German media is in fact the most Russphobic media, beating out US/UK media by a large margin. If only Russia allied with their Orthodox allies in Greece and Cyprus against their German leviathan.

Yes, yes and yes. Highly educated doctors actually wrote the paper on "neurological abnormality" of high ranked Russian officials which is most likely caused by their extensive "KGB weapon training". Read whole thing, i am actually shocked these guys exist. My sister that is soon to finish her Master in Med. Science saw this last night, lets say she was reading it with "poker face".

Another bit of sick humour:

The original NYT agitprop:

American elites are pathetic. They have a grossly inflated sense of their power and capability. As with all
the previous hubris afflicted western imperialists they will break their teeth on Russia. It is sad that so many
millions of people will die because the west never learns.

Russia Blamed, US Taxpayers on the Hook, as Fracking Boom Collapses
Unsubstantiated allegations in a New York Times report by Andrew Higgins claim that the Russians are funding anti-fracking protests to maintain their hegemony over gas markets.
The allegations have infuriated environmentalists and climate justice activists. The last thing they want is to be made scapegoats for the fracking collapse and be played as the neo-Cold War dupes of the Russian empire. But memories of red-baiting suddenly hang in the air as (by seeming coincidence) dozens of right-wing media sites regularly devoted to anti-Soviet slanders or climate change denial immediatelypicked up Higgins' Times piece, as if on cue.
There are now dozens more of such published reports. Even as the US fracking industry collapses and tensions over control of Ukraine and other former Soviet satellites re-emerge, there seems to be a concerted right-wing effort to label fracking opponents Russian agents.

During the question and answer portion, Wurtzbach was asked of her opinion on the Unites States military presence on the Philippines.
Question: Earlier this year, there was a controversy in the Philippines about the United States reopening of military base in your country. Do you think the United States should have a military presence in your country?
Answer: I think that the United States and the Philippines have always had a good relationship with each other. We were colonized by the Americans and we have their culture and our traditions even up to this day and I think that we're very welcoming with the Americans. And I don't see any problem with that at all.
Yes, that was the answer of Miss Universe this year.

Defense ministry calls report on alleged death of Russian soldiers in Syria media hoax
Essentially, some Russian portals were using some sort of wall street journal article of a BS reporting on deaths of Russian soldiers in Syria. Apparently the WSJ article didn't even mention Syria or Russian soldiers participation in ground ops in Syria. Doesn't mention location at all. So someone made it up in between the passing of the information from one to another, I guess to get Russian readers that cant understand English, all riled up.

Propaganda at people's cost: US State Department leads world PR expenses
The US government has been accused of enormous expenses to self-aggrandizement. A corresponding report has been prepared by a nonpartisan, non-profit organization Open the Books. The document, titled, The Department of self-promotion: How Federal Agency PR spending advances their interests rather than the public interest, reveals main directions of the US State Department budget spendings, that advance its own propaganda interests.
Authors of the report note that they used data of the US tax statistics, as well as information on the US government procurement since 2007 to 2015.
During this time $4.5 billion were spent by the State Department to 'monitor media, broadcast, video, and website' and 'news clipping services', that ranked the US self-promotion expenditures second largest in the world.
$37 million were spent on polling foreigners' opinions, including those in England, Poland, Italy, Germany, Spain, and France. $1 million was spent on 'speech writing and editing'.
The Open Books representatives point out that they would like to add more transparency to the US government and show which sums are spent on the satisfaction of personal interests rather than the public ones.
Pravda.Ru reported that Benjamin Ziff, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs stated that the White House aimed to increase its expenditures to propaganda against Russia in order to defend themselves from possible virtual attacks.

French medias are the most anti-russian there is.
In Germany the ARD did publish a full account of Maidan going completely against the narrative for example.
Even UK press sometime publish the occasional other side opinion view.
In France ALL you have is fear mongering, calls to escalate, etc...
Le Monde is supposedly the greatest specialized mainstream journal and were de facto every other newspaper else go to fetch info... Their redaction has been running hit piece after hit piece against Russia... for the last 15 years, relaying outright false information, Chechen propaganda, etc...
Last time the french TV actually got an exclusive interview of Putin... they got caught cutting, editing and manipulating it (because the full one was diffused by the Russian presidency on the net).
Yeah it's that bad. They literally got caught directly manipulating Putin response... not some shady reportage without credible sources...
It got so bad you literally cannot trust ANYTHING written in French about Russia for work purpose!

Re: Western propaganda
Le Monde is a big steaming pile of excrement. I saw a documentary about Khodorkovsky where the narrator called
up Le Monde to ask them some questions why they were glorifying this gangster. The discussion was taped, the
Le Monde editor did not answer any questions but started hurling abuse at him. The NATO media has zero credibility.
BTW, this same response was given to RT when they called to inquire at a German publication about the alleged
prior knowledge they had before the shootdown of the Russian jet by Turkey. Why should I have any respect for
NATO "journalists" when they act as punks and produce cheesy propaganda?

So German media ZDF creates docu about Putins soldiers in Ukraine. Channel 1 exposed the docu as a fraud by finding the so called soldier that zdf showed and he talked.
Actually a Russian media watchdog that's purpose is to monitor Russophobic media bias in the world press (I can't find the source at the moment, I posted it previously though), found that Germany reigned supreme with the absolute title of the most Russophobic media. In 2014 German media had 1,700+ Russophobic media/news items, leading by a wide margin over 2nd place, which is the US media with 1,400+ Russophobic media/news items, and 3rd place was the UK media with 1,200+.

Re: Western propaganda
German propaganda started only throwing some minor "reports" out after they were accused and had such an immense rage against the one-sided lying nonsense they spew to counter that accusations. They first started to delete comments on their websites, then they grew in such numbers that they reported it as "Putin pays jobless for internet presence and hatespeech" now thy are just closed no possible way to comment anymore. They hunt down anyone with more than 1000 clicks on youtube who cititates their videos and the lies they are spewing like Arma 2 videos used to blame Syria or cheer for rebels destroying "assad planes" or such staged reports like that guy being paid to act for such low amount of money that he should get cut something off.

Mainstream media often shies away from stories that lack easy hooks or challenge ideological preconceptions. This is where RT comes in – these are seven crucial but underreported narratives that we covered in detail in 2015.
