This is on the front line probably at 2/2,5 km.
Also I have big issues believing the tank was driving in the dark with Shtora shut down at the forefront of the battle. Which shows how fucked up this is.

What about that t-90 captured on Mallah farms? Probably in Turkey by now.
And why giving modern thanks to some Afghan militias that were paid by Iran to come to fight in Syria? And sending t-62M to newly formed 5 corps made up of Syrians. After all send those t-90 to Republican Guard.

Yeah, they have two none operational, gg.

Why would Turks need early T90 models when they got their buddies Azerbaijanis operating them.

Russia was fairly conscient of the risk of losing some units. The T-90 is not a technological secret, but not because of being in Azerbaijan. Im sure the West has far better access to the units in Uganda, as example.

Despite this kind of talking, Azerbaijan is more in the side of Russia, Iran (Azerbaijan is also a shiite country) and Pakistan, than in the side of Turkey, in the refered to Syria, and in the refered to everything else.

And also Russia and Iran play this game. The Abrams in Iraq are not a secret for them.

Huh, Azerbaijan in the side of Iran???

If the same idea is in the minds of Russian diplomacy, then I would say a nice Goodbye to Russian strategy of the region.

    Why would Azerbaijan be with Russia and Iran when;

-Karabakh is under control of Russian supported Armenians
-Iran is the only country which frees Armenia from being landlocked by Turkey and Azerbaijan in terms of supplies.
    -Azerbaijanis are not secterian Shiite.
-Their Shiite belief is not the same with of Iranians.
-They speak the same language with Turks, because they are also Turkic.
-They have a project called TANAP with Turkey which is only one of great projects in the energy field.
-Turkey being a military technology supplier for Azerbaijan.
-Turkey and Azerbaijan have a saying "One nation, two states"

Even Iran does not see Azerbaijan as a sovereign entity and even claim Azerbaijan as a part of Iran,at least by heart.

Turkey is not a sectarian country, neither is Azerbaijan....

REBEL CIVIL WAR IN IDLIB: JABHAT FATAH AL-SHAM DEFEATED ONE OF BIGGEST ‘REBEL FACTIONS’ IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS

    https://southfront.org/rebel-civil-war-jabhat-fatah-al-sham-defeated-one-of-biggest-rebel-factions-in-less-than-24-hours/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
The Jaish al-Mujahideen militant group became the first major casualty of the so-called “rebel civil war” in the Syrian province of Idlib.

On January 24 Jabhat Fatah al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda) launched a military operation against Jaish al-Mujahideen.

In less than 24 hours, Jabhat Fatah al-Sham units seized Jaish al-Mujahideen’s local HQ in Sarmada, including arms and ammunition depots in Idlib and the group’s HQs in Anadan and Atarib in western Aleppo.

According to local sources, in many cases Jaish al-Mujahideen militants just run away from Jabhat Fatah al-Sham. As result of the clashes, Jaish al-Mujahideen was defated and the vestiges of the group allegedly joined Ahrar al-Sham.

Before the conflict, Jaish al-Mujahideen’s manpower was estimated as 8,000 fighters.

Jaish al-Mujahideen was CIA-backed salafist group, described by the mainstream media as a “moderate rebel group.” Largest former component of Jaish al-Mujahideen was Nour al-Din al-Zenki which supports Jabhat Fatah al-Sham in the ongoing rebel civil war in Idlib.

One Leopard 2 (rack shot), and two APC's.

Any tips for recognizing ATGM types in-flight, e.g. exhaust color, smoke type etc? I don't know if anyone has got a handy resource lying around on HDD or browser.

    On video:

    Soviet ATGM's:

Maluytka: Hot launch, Slow missile, huge rotation, big dead zone (missile jumps before aligning with sight), bright white rear beacon.

Fagot: Cold Launch (gas generator), Huge screech, reduced rotation but higher revolution of the missile, black smoke, bright red beacon (can be bright white DPRK missiles).

Konkurs: almost identical to fagot except for casing of missile, earlier variants had the old style gas generator (screech).

Konkurs M: Biggest differences are no more screech but a "swoosh", black smoke, even faster and bigger warhead, red bright beacon (can be bright white on Iranian Tosan and DPRK Bulsae 2/3).

See upper video for two shots of K-M.

Metis/Metis M/M1: Cold launch, swoosh, fast missile, very big revolution and rotation, sparkle on the real of missile, white beacon, reduced range, extremely portable.
    Kornet

Kornet/Kornet-E: Same launch procedure as Metis, huge cold kick, extremely maneuverable because of non solid guidance (laser), two exhausts visible on high definition while steering, some missiles have "dirty booster" (mostly for Kornet-E).

I think he mean safe zones in SDF controlled territory and also zones under control of syrian forces with Russia overwatching. The first intention for "Operation Euphrat Shield" was to have safe zones for civilians, ok in first line is to kick kurdish asses! Trump is absolutely right with gulf states, the basterds are only sending weapons in and are supporting IS, but they do really nothing for the civilians!

Problem of trump is, his statements are never clear Suspect In the end...no one knows what he really means now.
