#SRO - Very interesting report by #DeZ activists : #US and allies led an airlanding operation with 4 helicopters near Maadan (E-#Raqqa) (1).

#SRO - Arab fighters (not from #SDF) participated with #US SF to small operation. Some #IS sect fighters were killed, others captured (2).

#SRO - After only 2 hours, Arab fighters were taken out with their prisoners by #US helicopters and withdrew toward an unknown area (END).

ADD.: seems #US trained #DeZ and #Raqqa arab volunteers to make their own operations behind #IS lines [not reproducing #Bukamal disaster].

There are 13,000 Arabs now serving with the SDF, alongside 45,000 Kurds with the YPG, according to a U.S. military spokesman, Col. John Dorrian.

But there seems to be little doubt that the YPG is leading the fight. Its flags flutter over the checkpoints along the newly liberated rural roads and at the military bases closest to the front lines. Its graffiti is scrawled over the walls of the captured towns and villages, as in Tal Saman, where the initials “YPG” were spray-painted alongside the pledge to take Raqqa.

The Kurdish-Arab alliance, with U.S. assistance, plans to recruit and train an additional 10,000 Arab fighters for an offensive on Raqqa

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The United States and its allies are set to provide additional intelligence, reconnaissance and surveillance (ISR) support to Turkish forces in northern Syria to fight Daesh terror group, US Department of State spokesman Mark Toner said in a briefing on Tuesday.

"The [US-led] coalition has now provided intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance support, what we call ISR, to our Turkish partners and to Turkish forces," Toner stated. "We are poised now to provide additional support as these operations continue." US government officials, Toner continued, are consulting with their Turkish counterparts to discuss other ways to maximize the overall impact of Washington’s military support in the fight against Daesh in Syria.

The United States has also supported Turkish operations on the ground through airstrikes against Islamic State positions, Toner added.

Many news from local sources:

-Daily infighting between the many terrorist groups in Idlib: Firefights, assassinations etc.

-Apparently it is a power struggle among them on who will be top dog.

-Situation got worse with the thousand of terrorists that were green-bused there from Aleppo and elsewhere.

-The Idlib local gangs don't want to receive any more green-bus deliveries from the Damascus areas.

Why bother solving a problem when problem can solve itself?

Better still, why not solve your own problem whilst making the enemy's much worse? Oh and get some positive PR on the way.

Self drive on the next green bus convoy (using old buses of course)?

The SAA and Russian negotiators in the Wadi report being told from some of the rebels that their foreign backers were demanding they hold out indefinitely. Apparently the locals are surrendering whenever possible but the outsiders are determined to fight.
