Please allow me to try to defuse this situation.

"My my, what lovely damsels. Such a delicate and charming turn of ankle, one can feel the warmth and feminine emotion emanating from them simply by viewing the photograph. Whilst one can readily sympathize with their ongoing struggle against the tyranny of the offenders one can't help but notice that perhaps one or two of them will make the arranged wedding night rather interesting as they will quite possibly spend a goodly part of that matrimonial eventide deciding who is going to do what with which and to whom."

    There, fixed.

-Since when does this forum have issues with profanities? (they are used routinely)

US have cut of diplomatic relations with Russia over Syria.

A remake of the Cuban missile crisis in 1962, except there is a hot proxy war going in Syria atm.

Washington has “suspended” bilateral contacts with Moscow over the Syrian crisis, the US State Department said. Russian Foreign Ministry said it was "disappointed" by the decision and accused the US of seeking to shift blame for its own failure in Syria

It is an issue when it lowers the level of discourse. We all want good discussions here. Do you think it is helping that?

    Good interview.
I don't agree with every point he makes, but he seems to have a pretty good handle on what's going on in Aleppo.

No wonder the US wants to stop the SAA and SyAF from operating east of the Euphrates. Sovereign territory, what's that?

The US is building a military airfield in northern Syria as part of its ongoing campaign against Daesh, a representative of the Syrian Democratic Forces command told Sputnik on condition of anonymity.

The construction site, located between the cities of Sheddadi and al-Hasakah and secured by SDF fighters, sits on a major oil and gas field. The US Air Force will make active use of the new air base during the operation to liberate Raqqa. “The Americans previously built military airfield in Rimelan in al-Hasakah Governorate and in Kobani in Aleppo Province, and they will now have another one in Sheddadi with its large deposits of oil and gas,” the SDF representative told Sputnik.

He added that the US military established its permanent presence in the area after SDF units liberated Sheddadi in February 2016 and that the Americans will be able to use the base, which is almost complete now, also as an arms depot. “The bases in Rimelan and Kobani are already being used by the Americans with planes flying in and out bringing in arms and ammunition. The base will also be used to supply weapons for SDF units as part of the military assistance provided the US and other members of the international coalition,” the representative emphasized.

This is what makes me mad and makes no senses, why is Russian Air Forces not focusing on Al-Raqqa? Go for Al Raqqa, why are not more forces, fighting the terriosts, the terriosts in Al-Raqqa, if the Russian and Syrian forces don't go to the east of Euphrates, than the Russian intervention was a waste.

They can really only focus on where the SAA are pushing at any given time, air strikes are a support role, they wont win a war without ground troops. If the ground troops are tied up at the Aleppo pocket, then that operation needs to be completed to free up troops for other areas.

A pinpoint strike by the SAA on the runway of the 'US airfield' should keep them busy with the repair work while preventing casualties. It would be a signal by the Syrian government. Chances are the western media uses this as propaganda for their 'fight against isis' but I feel it is important to limit any US expansion within Syria as much as possible before the base grows too big.

Top Washington officials are set to discuss striking positions of the Syrian military without a UN Security Council resolution. Bombing air force runways with missiles fired from coalition planes and ships is being considered, according to a report.

“One proposed way to get around the White House’s objection to striking the Assad regime without a UN Security Council resolution would be to carry out the strikes covertly and without public acknowledgment,” one administration official who is to take part in the discussions told the Washington Post.

Russia have said they will shoot down US aircraft that attack the Syrian Army.

Because Raqqa is far away from Syrian Army positions and there is nothing there anyway.. capturing territory just for the sake of capturing is not the goal. but to destroy terrorist supply routes is more important and lock them. Syria also needs yet to retake all Latakia and IDLIB that is more closer to Russian military base ,which is far more important. Once Syria capture all Aleppo and IDLIB ,the war pretty much will be over ,because what ISIS have in eastern syria is largely desert and empty place. For Syria to continue to exist , it is extremely important ,that the army have control of Damascus and Latakia and all cities that connects them. So a free road from Damascus to Aleppo needs to continue open and that means fully clearing Aleppo ,homs and hama. and IDLIB is important for keeping TUrkey and NATO and the terrorist as far as away of possible of the Russian base. Because any artillery attack with smerch rockets could reach The Russian military base. So Syria needs first to secure Russia military base and keep and open fast road from Damascus to Latakia and after that secured.. little by little push NATO backed terrorist more and more towards the IRAQ border or Turkey border ,jordan or Israel.
But the most important first is secure the biggest cities first ,that could be better defended for being closer to Russia military base. That said.. ALeppo and IDLIB and fully finish the clean of latakia have to be done first.

I heard up to 10,000 rebels are trapped in eastern Aleppo. Surely if that many can be eliminated, the end is in sight.
