Russia refuses to provide counter battery radars. These artillery out in the open like that is sitting duck if SAA has counter battery radars like Ukraine got from the US.

SAA urgently needs counter battery radars to locate and destroy bad people artillery. Why don't Russia supply some? Even Ukraine got counter battery radars from the US.

Russia has shit ton of money and people to throw at it. Smartest thing would have been to actually legitimize private military companies at the official level, not some contracting companies that deal with some work here and there. Would have provided lots of jobs to immigrants in Russia whom cant find much else work, and provide security and stability for Syria.

Russia seems to like using embedded forward air controllers, coordinating gunships to cover the SAA advances, similar to the Palmyra operation. I highly doubt the SAA has the training and know-how to competently utilize CAS.

Why for? The Russians are already there by bombing both from air and ground. I can think of a lot of ways a Russian battalion could have made the whole Aleppo ordeal impossible for the beardies. But what do I know.

Although I agree with you on this. If Russians were to fight, they should have been there in early August not now.
I think Russians are too scared of casualties which would sway public opinion against Putin. That's why Russia does not commit ground forces. Although, I doubt bad people dare to fight Russian ground forces in the first place and had Russia committed ground forces like Turkey did, Aleppo would have been cleared of bad people within days.

Clearly. Russia's objective is prolonging the war by not supplying counter battery radars. If SAA has counter battery radars, bad people artillery would be located and wiped out and the war would be over in weeks. Russia is in Syria to carry out Israel's orders.

Some people are reporting fighting has reached Khattab town in North Hama. So the rebels have advanced about 10km in 2 days. I guess that's the problem with relocating fighters to Idlib. Their terrorist statelet gets stronger and they can do big offensives like South Aleppo or this Hama push.
