Well not really.

A professional soccer player can play for any club, but not just for any country they please and it is the same with professional soldiers...

But then a professional soldier serves his own country and then gets out when his time is up and does not reenlist, perhaps because he found it boring or for a wish for excitement and adventure that so many young people crave... and of course better money will also come in to it.

A professional soldier with good skills who wants to use them in places where law and order do not operate normally because of war or corruption or colonialism or a combination of factors.

They might genuinely think they are doing good... in fact they might be, but either way they are earning a living doing something they are either good at or wont be doing too long. (hint all the wannabe mercs going to Ukraine for instance... many professional soldiers from western countries... but no used to being on the receiving end of artillery and air support...)

There is no money that can make a soldier out of an unmotivated person just as there is no money that can make a soldier out of a physically unfit person.

Normally I would agree, but with a play station controller in one hand a few gamers might be successful drone pilots with the right training and zero need for physical fitness...

They are free to reintroduce conscription tomorrow if they want to have colour revolution day after tomorrow

Even you must find that amusing... you refuse to join the army for low wages and if they force you you will join an army presumably with no wages to assert your right to only fight for good money.

Colour revolutions only happen with funding and it is people like George Soros and the west that fund colour revolutions and most of the people fighting in them never end up getting what they really want... people like Soros and the US government use such feelings against your own government to remove your government but they are paying the bills and control the leaderships and so the government you will get is actually most likely to be one you like even less... look at what happened in the Ukraine... they were pissed off at living in a shitty country and the EU and US promised a land of milk and honey and what they got was nazis and Americans and a fucking international tie eater in charge of things.

But then most of the young men fighting for freedom then are probably already dead now in the eastern part of their country fighting a war they are not going to win for people who don't care.

Because this hypocritical entitled egotistical feudal-style arrogance is literally the only thing that could make me (and many others) support colour revolution

Politicians have always been arseholes, demanding the people give till they bleed while protecting themselves and their own as much as possible.

As children, you or I could have been slapped by a teacher, while such a thing is unthinkable today. We grew up at a time when sports fields were full, which is often uninteresting to today's children - except for gyms. Our generations masturbated to porn from VHS tapes that we had to rent at a video club, while you yourself know what is being watched on the Internet today. We had and respected authorities and older people, mostly, while today's children are often not like that. We who are the X generation in Serbia are a run over generation. There are those who are ready for the army, as you write about, yes, but in our time there were more of them.

Every generation thinks less of the generation that comes after them... when I was a University doing a paper on Anthropology the lecturer read out an article from the newspaper... young people today are rude and use bad language and don't respect authority or the elderly. They are lazy and don't like hard work and waste all their time on new technology, etc etc etc... The article is from an English newspaper from the 1700s.

When the current group of delinquents grows up they will find they feel the same about their youth.
