Hey Garry B and others. There was a politician on CNN who was saying that the Baltic countries of Latvia, Lithanian and Estonia are afraid that Russia will invade them. They are members of NATO. They say that what happened in Ukraine could happen to them. I want to know is all of this true? Could somebody explain to me the relationship between Russia and the Baltic states?
Hahahahaahahaha... Bloody Hilarious...
They say what happened in the Ukraine could happen to them?
I don't think the US wants to payroll another three coups to overthrow legitimate elected governments in that region as the current ones are already their bitches... it would be a waste of money... not that that would normally stop them.
The Baltic states are rabid anti russians... just like the Poles and the majority of the Ukrainians... including those being bombed by the government in Kiev at the moment.
They are the whiny states that complain yet have a better lifestyle than the rest of the country when they were part of the Soviet Union, and now that they are out all of their problems are Russias fault. Russia is better rid of them and does not want them back. They can be the EUs problem.
But their anti Russia attitude was useful when Abummer was in power, but now Hilary got some water thrown on her and she melted away they are scared that Trump might not want to treat Russia as an enemy and all of a sudden they are stuck in the middle of the bed they have made.
They used to have a lot of trade with their neighbour Russia but with all the anti Russia crap they have proudly cut those ties to show their loyalty to the EU and US.
Their choice now is to either drum up EU support for more NATO forces in their country that they can sponge off of, or try to return to old relations with Russia... and I hope in the case of the latter that Russia tells them to go fuck themselves.
Now instead of moving freight through foreign (ie baltic) ports the Russians are using their own ports and keeping the money they used to spend in foreign countries...
