This missile is named after Hezbollah martyr Jihad Mughniyeh.

His father, Imad Mughniyeh, a prominent Hezbollah commander, was assassinated by Israel in 2008. Jihad pledged allegiance to Hasan Nasrallah days later, at just 16.

He was assassinated in 2015 by a Zionist air strike while participating in the establishment of a missile base in the Quneitra region of southern Syria, near the Golan Heights. He was 23 years old.

BREAKING: An explosive-laden drone impacted a base in the northern town of Hurfeish in occupied lands.

The drone impacted bypassing all air defenses and no sirens.
