US ,UK ,FRance ,Turkey and Jordan blocked a resolution in UN from
Russia to sanctions on ISIS..   They gave very foolish excuse to blockade
the resolution.. this is just another more indication of their poltical support to ISIS..

Russia: U.S., Britain, France and Jordan refuse to list ISIS on Security Council’s sanctions list as standalone organization
‪#‎Moscow‬, ‪#‎SANA‬ – The Russian Foreign Ministry said that the ‪#‎US‬ ‪#‎Britain‬, ‪#‎France‬ and ‪#‎Jordan‬ shot down a ‪#‎Russian‬-backed ‪#‎Syrian‬ request to add ‪#‎ISIS‬ to the Security Council’s sanctions list as a standalone organization.
In a statement on Friday, the Ministry said the Americans and their proponents insist that changing the name in the sanctions list from “Al ‪#‎Qaeda‬ in Iraq” to ISIS “doesn’t reflect the actual reality of things” and that ISIS is included in the list under the aforementioned name.
The Ministry said that the obvious political motivation for such a position is attempting to dodge responsibility for the growing threat of ISIS, with these sides trying to prove that it isn’t a new organization that resulted from plots to topple the Syrian government by clinging to the idea that it’s just Al Qaeda in Iraq, so that they can claim that the coalition that is against the Syrian government doesn’t bear any responsibility for the rise of ISIS.
The statement said that these claims being made by Washington aren’t convincing, noting that the U.S. is using the excuse that its State Department changed the name of “Al Qaeda in ‪#‎Iraq‬” to ISIS in a bid to justify their position in the UN, with the Ministry bringing back to mind the fact that Al Qaeda in Iraq emerged due to the U.S. invasion of Iraq in 2003. ‪

what assads army needs, is the T-90s with some BMP-3s, and putin should send the T-72b3 instead of the export monky versions, for the air force they need, are the su-25s,su-34,a few su-35s, and the su-27sm3s, all mig-29s need upgrade to smt level, if america gives israel all the top range stuff, then russia should give syria the same, I think russia owes syria after they striped the radars and ecm jammers on there mig-23s before the lebanon air war of 82,also every tank should be given shtora to stop the anti tank missile threat,

The syrian army lost or retreated from Jisr Shugur. The loss of Idlib and Jisr Shugur seem predecided now they have too defend the alawite heartland and Latakia. This war seems unwinnable for the syrian army. Unless there is an iranian intervention.

It seems today, that Israel helped its terrorists friends like Jabhat Nosra, and Isis by bombing the Lebanon/Syria's Kalamoun. Each time when Israelis terrorists friends are in a difficult situations Israel rushed to help them. For reprisals, it would be usefull for Syria to help Hizbollah and provide them whatever they need fight terrorist regime of Tel Aviv. There are too, many palestinian factions -except this bastards of Khaled Mechaal, Mahmud Abbas, and Dahlan- that want help in weaponneries. It would be the best reprisals after this another Israeli-US agression.

'IAF struck missile bases in Syria,' Al-Jazeera report says

According to Al-Jazeera, Israeli fighter jets bombed bases in the Al-Qalamoun mountains, where strategic bases are located housing long-range missiles; IDF: "We do not comment on foreign reports."

Israel Air Force fighter jets struck Syrian military bases housing long-range missiles on Friday, the Qatari Al-Jazeera satellite television network said on Saturday.

According to the report, the bases, near the Syrian-Lebanese border, belong to Assad regime brigades that possess weapons such as Scud missiles. The attacks allegedly targeted multiple targets in the area.

The IDF Spokesman said, "We do not comment on foreign reports."

Like all statements belonging to to this filthy channel this is a shit. Israel did not bomb Scud missiles bases. They bombed syrian troops that are trapping the terrorists groups Al Nosra and Isis -that are israelis friends-. Israel could not dare to attack Hizbollah, because they don't have enough resources. To do a war, you need men, but Israel has never men but instead they have whingers. It proves again the nature of this regime.

As soon as ISIS manages to get hands on it we already know that there will be NATO boots walking like old bodies next to ISIS, because that is always what happens through out history of those so called "terrorist" groups. Then you will have the ultimate proof that ISIS is Israelis and US terrorist boogeyman used to justify the attacks of other countries via proxy and pretenciously to use "air strikes" but not against ISIS but against Syria,Lybia, Iraq and co.

    It wouldn't surprise me.

It also wouldn't surprise me if Bazalt's engineers got a good look at those Iraqi Army M1's through Iranian connections.

Syrian Civil War: News - Page 36 Empty How low are western medias....near the shit

Post  nemrod Mon Apr 27, 2015 12:08 am

Here is an example of propaganda, and how low became the western medias. This time it came from Jane's Defense. For us, or, all that are interresting by weapons, Jane defense was reference during the 70's-80's. But now, they became a simple organe of israeli defense minister, if not the Pentagon. Remember their coverts about Ukraine's conflict. After that, they don't understand why they are loosing more and more readers. At first, Israel simply does not dare to attack Hizbollah, because the whingers of eternity know very well the consequences. They attacked Syria, because they know very well that in the case of war, if they could hardly sustain a war, Turkey, and Saudi tribes, with Jordan, and US will rush to help Israel. Turkey, and Saudi tribe are even ready to send troops in Syria in order to save Israel. For that reason Syria retained to reprisal, even though, one day it will be unavoidable. Most of the problems of muslim world come from Ryadh. In the past, Israel showed that it was, and it still is a very vulnerable country. US, except their loudmouth, US air force is no longer able to resist to modern russian anti aircrafts hardwares. But Saudi tribe remain the worst syrian problem. For China, Russia, India, their problems of terrorism too, come from Saudi Tribe.

    Hizbullah airstrip revealed

Lebanon's militant Shia group, Hizbullah, has constructed an airstrip in the northern Bekaa Valley for its unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), an analysis of satellite images suggests.

Located in a remote and sparsely populated area 10 km south of the town of Hermel and 18 km west of the Syrian border, the airstrip was built sometime between 27 February 2013 and 19 June 2014, according to imagery that recently became publicly available on Google Earth.

It consists of a single unpaved strip with a length of 670 m and width of 20 m. Material has been excavated from a nearby quarry to build up the northern end of the strip so that it is level. It is built over a shorter strip that had been in existence since at least 2010.

The short length of the runway suggests the facility is not intended to smuggle in weapons shipments from Syria or Iran as it is too short for nearly all the transport aircraft used by the air forces of those countries. One exception could be the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps' (IRGC's) An-74T-200 short take-off transports, but landing one with a useful load on a 670 m strip in the mountains would be considered dangerous by most operators.

An alternative explanation is that the runway was built for Iranian-made UAVs, including the Ababil-3, which has been employed over Syria by forces allied to the Syrian regime, and possibly the newer and larger Shahed-129.

Hizbullah sources have confirmed to IHS Jane's that the organisation is using UAVs to support operations against rebel forces in Syria, particularly over the mountainous Qalamoun region on Lebanon's eastern border.

An antenna is located on a hill 430 m south of the strip and linked by a track. While this looks like a standard Lebanese mobile telephone tower, it could potentially be used to extend the range of a UAV ground control station.

There are six small utility buildings next to the strip, but none are large enough to accommodate a UAV the size of an Ababil-3, which has a wingspan of around 7 m. However, there is a facility constructed in a valley 2.5 km west of the airstrip that includes two utility buildings large enough to house UAVs.

The site, which is guarded by a checkpoint and swing gate, resembles other Hizbullah facilities scattered around the Bekaa Valley.

Hizbullah has operated UAVs from Lebanese airspace since at least November 2004, when it dispatched one that it identified as a Mirsad-1 for a brief reconnaissance mission over northern Israel. It then flew attempted to fly at least three UAVs into Israel during the July-August 2006 war.

Hizbullah said it was responsible for the UAV that was shot down over southern Israel on 6 October 2012. It said it used an Iranian-made aircraft that it had designated as the Ayoub for the incursion.

Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the commander of the IRGC Aerospace Forces, subsequently said the UAV was of a type that had been in existence for a decade, a possible reference to the Ababil-3.

Iranian UAVs have been spotted on numerous occasions in Syrian airspace, mainly the Ababil-3 variant, but also the smaller Yasir-type.

The Saudi Al-Watan newspaper claimed in March 2014 that Hizbullah had built a "military airport" for its UAVs in the Bekaa Valley. Lebanese media reports erroneously claimed the location was at Iaat in the central Bekaa Valley, apparently mistaking a long-abandoned Second World War-era Royal Air Force airfield for the Hizbullah facility.

Israeli airstrikes would be doing more damage against the anti-ISIS campaign then sending the S-300's, your conclusion that they would be totally worthless is pure speculation. So tell me again why are the Israelis carrying airstrikes on SAA positions, who does it benefit, and for what purpose?

By all means, send them. Shoot down Israeli F-16's at the end of their runways. However, it wont change the fact that the SAA is losing ground to hordes of terrorists with pickup trucks, and the SAA doesn't have the manpower and weapons to deal with it. S-300's are not going to turn the tide for the Syrian government.

The only way to resolve this problem is to break ISIS in Iraq with Iranian support, force them into a two front war, and cut a bloody swath strait west through ISIS-stan until you reach Aleppo.

You missunderstand the situation. SAA is not losing to Toyota pick up trucks, whenever FSA/ISIS terrorists of Israel and US can not go anywhere there is an shitty Israeli air strike that opens path and they only target SAA because ISIS is their little terrorist organisation.
S-300 would make it easier to deal with terrorists if they could be safe from the sky, not to mention keep sky clear from weapon cache drops from the terrorists we call USA.

Show me one confirmed example of an Israeli airstrike hitting a target that tactically changes the battle in favor of ISIS as you describe. The only examples I've see have been arms depots behind the front line. But, perhaps those "Hezbollah convoy" claims could be a starting point... I don't know. On the Israeli-Syrian border, there's been strikes that I would interpret as you describe, but only in that micro-territory of Syria.

The US Government doesn't need to drop in weapons for their terrorist buddies, they just drive them over the Jordanian or Turkish border.
