I like R27 design
The butterfly design... ie narrow at the body and wide out at the tip, means they are more efficient in turning and lose less lift while turning the missile.
Remember the new turret module on the BTR-82 displayed at the ARMY-2015 show?
Here it is:
Looks more naval than AFV... no optics...

Guys, we all know that it won't look like that.
And thank god too, that is one silly superstructure.

Probably not...it's just a concept. Apparently soon we should see the official proposals to the MOD

It was displayed at the naval show.
Alongside the new 57mm.
They could both be naval versions or have naval applications.

Actually just looking at them the 57mm gun mount looks like an AFV mount, while the 14.5mm HMG mount looks like a remote mount on a small or medium vessel that would have off mount guidance/aiming. IMHO.

Hi Ken,
It seems that the helmets in the two images look different.
Also there is an ancient tradition of this site that each poster should first introduce himself/herself in his/her thread in the "Member Introductions and rules".

I'm pretty sure that's a France topsight the same one that the Indian use with the MiG-29K.

AFAIK, this is the future Russian HMDS for all fighters, PAK-FA, Su-35, etc.
This is the one for the Mi-28N and I think for the Ka-52 as well.
