    same logic applies to Krasuha.

He was not refering to Turkish army communications, but Turkmens/FSA. They use commercial grade com equipment without encryption and frequency switching. They might have limited effect on Russians, however in cluttering mode it will sure as hell affect commercial coms big time.

Unless, there's no such things as Turkmen groups, only front for Turkish Intelligence.

Unless ofc. Tho i am not sure what is the most numerous mobile Turkish army radio, many armies still use huge amounts of older types that are secure like school lockers.

Possibly old Harris AN/PRC 114/77, AN/MRC-110 and probably their own version of the Vinson.

An interesting development is the fighting between the YPG & allies versus the various rebel groups in Northern Aleppo. They've captured the below marked territory and endangered their supply route to Turkey.

There are rumours that all the foreign powers involved in the war have agreed to have the YPG (under the banner of SDF) take over northern territories from the islamists

Turkey forfeited their voice when they shot the plane. The US hits two birds with the same stone. Pulls a turkish on the Turks and does this with Russian support. Iraqidabab has a point. It's OK to have Kurds winning in the short term, but it's a big issue in the long term. Having this drag for a little longer should be in Russia's interest. Contracting the Kurds in order to effectively have them reconsider their exclusive ties with the US. Otherwise, the Syrians (and Iraqis) are in for a bigger headache.

Post  zenmonk Sun Nov 29, 2015 7:44 am

it seems that that the NATO and the Yankees deliberately shot down the Russian Jet because, they really want to test the efficiency and capability of the S 400 and Pantisir in actual combat. Since the F 22 is introduced in the ongoing middle east conflict, US Israel and NATO really want to test the modern Russian air defence systems it developed since 1975. NATO and US think that the Russians would fire the S 400 and would be able to find the measures to neutralize it in the coming conflicts. And its pretty clear that the US and Co want to have a BVR and WVR engagement with the laterst Russian fighter air crafts su 30s. What could be the Russians thinking of it?

Now notice what happens at 2:20, 2:25 and 3:00...  First at 2:20 they cut video coz they hit the wall with the gun, then on 2:25 they actually smacked the wall with gun and turret than on 3:00 they are piercing their own track covers....with..coaxial gun... in 2-3 minutes they basically did short course on what not to do as a tank crew...

this somewhat looks like from Video game
    Arma 3 maybe.

The original report is from a Greek agency 'Pro News'. They're saying a quarter of the Turkish 1st Army (facing Greece) is being moved towards Syria...they have been sending reinforcements to the border but we should probably wait for confirmation of this report.

Overall, more than 1,000 battle tanks, artillery, TDMA / APC and self propelled rocket launchers were removed from Eastern Thrace in the direction of Syria.

The people at Pro News see this as great opportunity to settle scores with Turkey.....they also have a report which claims the FOAB was used near Deir Zoir....so they lean towards the sensationalist news

Pro news is very unreliable, actually it's terrible. Turkey has thousands of MBTs to spare before moving any from their 1st Army. The original reports of this move were major turkish media that took photos on Sabra M-60s moving in by train. But the numbers were low, ca. 20 and nothing to do with E. Thrace forces.

^^ It is time for Russia/Syrian forces to strike targets like these so that there are collaterial damage in the form of Turkish soldiers/accompliances.

Btw, few hours back Al Jihadi was claiming about 20 killed in VKS attack on a market in Idlib and the FSA terrorists and allies gaining in their fight in Aleppo with 40 or so SAA and allies killed. Couldn't find these info on the fast moving twitter though.

Where FSA? In Southern Aleppo it's Al Nusra/ Jaish al Fath. Latakia the coastal Divisions are stuck. In Northern ALeppo, the Kurds have kicked off round 345847582 and generally around Palmyra the Syrians are pressing.
