I have been watching RMF for quite a long time now, but as I am not a military expert, I have abstained from comments up till now. I am from Brazil, a country that has decided to buy Swedish Grippens and has a (controversial) deal with France for the ToT and build nuclear submarines to protect its offshore oil platforms. I still can't figure out why my country left aside the Russian offer for Sukhoi's Su-35S and the constructiom in situ of nuclear submarines with Russian ToT. Maybe it was the decision taken by that V column former Brazilian Minister of Defense Nelson Jobim. Brazil is part of the BRICS countries and Russia has close cooperation programmes with the military of China and India due to the excellence of its military hardware.
