It is funny how Kiev screamed and screamed that Russians were in the Donbass and they have been fighting Russians the last 10 years or so, yet now they are actually fighting Russians they don't seem to be enjoying themselves the way you think they would.

Careful what you wish for, and play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

    Off Topic

The whole crisis since 2014 is a reflection of congenital idiocy of Ukr nazionalists. They had a country and a system that managed to fit the regional
diversity (e.g. Party of Regions was one of the main parties). But that was not enough for these Hitler loving zero sum retard freaks. They needed
    ideological and racial purity.

All of these f*cks need the Farion treatment.

So that is why it was taking them forever to launch the Project 22220 Chukotka. Turns out they were importing the propulsion system.

Sevmash Completes Testing of Thrust Bearing for Icebreaker Chukotka
    10.09.2024

The Severodvinsk enterprise USC Sevmash has completed testing of the largest thrust bearing on a test bench. The product is intended for the nuclear icebreaker Chukotka of Project 22220, which is being built at the Baltic Shipyard in St. Petersburg.

The bearing is 2.5 meters high, the total mass in assembly is about 25 tons. Experts note that a structure with such dimensions was on the stand for the first time. The bearing was tested together with a thrust shaft delivered to our enterprise. Testing was carried out under various loads, the power unit of the product passed the test. Representatives of the customer participated in the tests. The program was implemented in full, the technical characteristics laid down by the designer were confirmed.

It should be noted that the thrust bearing was designed by the Sevmash Design Bureau, and the bureau also developed a testing program. Several divisions of the shipyard took part in the testing, including the main manufacturers – the mechanical and mechanical assembly shops.

The next stage is preparing the bearing for shipment to the Baltic Shipyard. Work on two more similar products for the Chukotka icebreaker is nearing completion. The transfer of the structures to the customer is scheduled for September.
