It would be interesting if that carrier group is used against targets in Lebanon and indeed even in Syria against Iranian targets might the Iranians decide that some ballistic missile love and some long range drone love might be directed at the US Navy... enemy fighters would struggle against the US Navy but low radar cross section small drones and ballistic rockets might be a challenge for a US Navy carrier group.

Syria Air Defence is not terrible and includes BUK and Pantsir remember so even that aspect is going to be a challenge really.

As I mentioned before Syria has Bastion, which is Yakhont in a truck onshore... this wont be the turkey shoot it might once have been, and Russian S-300s have been replaced by Iranian equivalents too so enemy air power over Syria might not be so safe.

#Hezbollah announced that in response to Israeli attacks on southern #Lebanon on Monday, which resulted in the martyrdom of three of our forces, the Israeli al-Jardah military base was targeted with ATGM missiles. In this attack,a number of Israeli forces were killed and wounded.

Hamas denies killing civilians:


In a press statement Wednesday, Hamas condemned promoting the Israeli occupation’s propaganda, which is full of lies and fabrications, as an attempt to cover up the crimes and massacres committed by the Israeli occupation around the clock, most of which amount to war crimes and genocide.    

The Palestinian resistance movement stressed that Palestinian freedom fighters have been targeting Israeli occupation military and security posts and bases – all of which are legitimate targets.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian freedom fighters have sought to avoid targeting civilians, Hamas added, pointing to televised testimonies made by several colonial settlers.

Hamas regretted that Western mainstream media has failed to report on the war crimes and genocide committed by the Israeli occupation, which has indiscriminately and violently pounded neighbourhoods and bombed dozens of homes with their inhabitants inside, killing more than 950 people, including 260 children and 230 women, so far.  
   
Hamas called on Western mainstream media to seek both truth and accuracy in reporting on the ongoing Israeli aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip.

The Israeli fighter jets bombarded the targets belonging to Hezbollah on the border of Lebanon and the artillery attacks have also intensified.

As of now the Israeli army has:

1- Not killed any PIJ military senior commander
2- Not killed any Hamas Hamas military senior commander
3- Has not stopped rocket launches

But it has:

1- Killed as and injured up to 6000 civilians in Gaza, of which 60% are children and womaen.

2- Destroyed all infrastructure, including universities and banks

3- Destroyed full neighborhoods.

Halevi is correct. They destroyed and killed those knowingly.

So Hamas for Israel is also used sort of a tool, a narrative mechanism to exterminate palestinian civilians.

IDF tactics always were to put pressure on resistance by killing civilians .

There was some quite interesting opinion in Segodnaya this week.
Suggesting that it can be a provoked action of the Israel itself, that heated up over the desired limits.

And honestly, this is a point of view I can understand.
I don't believe in Israel's inability to discover preparations for the biggest attack carried like forever.
Gaza is too small an area, Hamas way too much infiltrated, and the operation is simply too big and demands enormous logistics to stay covered.
It does not add up.

In general, Westerners, with their prejudices, have always underestimated the capabilities of their enemies.
The whole issue of Mossad, or the Israeli government, letting Hamas do it, is purely a product of that prejudiced thinking.
They have been promising that they are going to destroy the Palestinian Resistance for decades and they cannot do it.
Sometimes intelligence is worth more than strength.
As demonstrated by the Iraqi resistance, the Afghan resistance, Hezbollah in 2006, etc.; Powerful countries can also be defeated.

An Israeli account has published that a 95-year-old war criminal, who was a member of the Lehi terrorist organization “Stern gangs”, has rejoined the Israeli occupation army to kill Palestinians. The Stern gangs organization was responsible for killing hundreds of British soldiers and Palestinian farmers in mandatory #Palestine and it was mainly responsible for Deir Yassin massacre.
