Perhaps it's time for Russia, China, Iran and Syria to "fund" this conflict. How about some Iskanders and Geran drones for starters?
How about some retired Indian Mig-21's with "Palestinian" suicide pilots?
Iran has quite a lot of nice goodies it could send over to fuel the fire and to keep it going for years to come - How about that?

Well Israel didn't support Ukraine so Russia has no reason to support Hamas.
Indians are on israeli side. They hate muslims.
Arab state have let Gaza down for years now. They don't care.

Hezvollah have hundred of precision guided cruise missiles, rockets and BM and tens of thousands of unguided ones. They also have drones in huge numbers. Israeli know they will be hit very hard if hezbollah attacks.

It shows what , even a small force , with a modest degree of training , and support , can achieve . The big nations , Russia and India and China and the rest of the world , including most Arabs and Muslims themselves , do not care for Palestinian plight , it is true , but doubt if they will actively support Israel either . And the western racist terrorist world supports racist terrorist Israelis . And Iran gives a minimal degree of help perhaps . This modest operation , seems to have modest aims for the Palestinians , and of course bolsters the political position of the " religious" right wing , the great distraction ! As it bolsters the right wing insides Israel ! Much more important than any direct geopolitical gain or benefit ! I hope at least that the Palestinians get some of their demands met on prisoners and safety for religious sites .

My post was actually a bit of tongue in cheek - with reference as to how easy the West would use opportunities like these to turn it into a proxy war.
It's quite a long list actually but yes I feel sorry for the Palestinians who is going to face the brunt of Israeli revenge, where thousands of civilians will be murdered - yet again.

Palestinians are already paying a hefty price for it; more of them have been killed than the Israelis.
Looks to me to be a similar situation to the Georgian invasion of South Ossetia back in 2008; at the start things went well for the Georgians, and then they were quickly rolled back into Georgia.
The initial success came from the element of surprise.
