Helicopter losses suck -- apparently Fighterbomber really does have internal sources and knew the count minutes after the attack, hence his dismay -- but what matters is winning the war. Need to advance, finish capturing the Donbas.

The question is what AD defense this base had. If there were low-level systems there, the result of the interception was still impressive. I don't think there was an S 300 there?

What evidence have you seen of interceptions? I saw some posting pictures of spent ATACMS booster casings and saying they were intercepted, which obviously wasn't true.

The Russian army in Ukraine is opposed by about 2 thousand foreign mercenaries, most of whom are concentrated in the Zaporozhye direction. This is stated in an analytical note compiled by the Ministry of Defense. Izvestia got acquainted with the contents of the document. Its authenticity was confirmed to the publication by three sources in the military department.

In total, since the beginning of the special military operation of the Russian Armed Forces, more than 12.7 thousand volunteers from 88 states have arrived on Ukrainian territory. During this time, more than 5.4 thousand militants were killed, 5.3 thousand went back.

The largest group arrived in Ukraine from Poland - more than 2.7 thousand people. In second place is the United States , where over a thousand people came from. 900 people each came from Georgia and Canada, approximately 700 each from Belarus, Great Britain and Romania.

According to the authors of the analytical note, private military companies are actively involved in recruiting volunteers. Among them are Academy, Cubic, Darkhorse Benefits, Dean Corporation, Forward Observation Group, Hyperion Services, Sons of Liberty international, as well as the Polish ASBS Othago and European Security Academy.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are complaining to Bundestag deputies about systemic problems with the repair of the Gepard SPAAG.

Kiev not only lacks spare parts, but also installation manuals: “And in those rare cases when instructions are provided, they are only in German, not English or Ukrainian,” the Süddeutsche Zeitung writes.

The reason for the shortage of spare parts is that the Bundeswehr abandoned the Gepard in 2010 and stopped producing shells for them.

Repair of self-propelled guns can drag on for months due to the fact that licenses and specialists for repairs are given “on the spot,” and the weapons are delivered to Germany for work. Ukrainian soldiers complained about this to deputies Sebastian Schaefer and Andreas Schwarz during their visit to Kiev.

No evidence yet, only as per reports, but you can count hits on the satellite picture and compare it to launch video.

Could work other way around too. No point to believe in crazy KIA numbers and destroyed HIMARses with no photographic proof. 

Russian TG channels should be less vocal IMHO

Consistency would be great. There is no reliable narrative in this war.
Russian TGs invent Ukrainian attacks and then successful defenses, not the first time. Rybar and Romanov are the main culprits.

Three missiles of the "Iskander" complex flew into Krivi Rog. Apparently, in response to ATACMS missile attacks a decision was made to increase the intensity of the use of "Iskander" missiles

A few days ago Ukrs carried multiple tries to cross Dnepr in the general Cherson direction.

Actually Ukrainians are still on the left bank 3-4km away from the river and it is not just one of those quick hit and run raids - apparently they brought more people than Russian side expected. Ah and Ukraine firmly is holding left bank of Antonivka bridge despite months long Russian attempts to cut them off.

What is their goal? - I can not say do not have crystal ball but would assume the goal is to harass and more stretch Russian reserves that are steadily worn and push more thin. It will be interesting to see if this develops into something more.

And Russian attempt of counteroffensive is massive loss of people and equipment around Avdiivka till now, there are clips on the internet they lost approx. 45 tanks and armored vehicles. One would think they knew better and learn till now - Putin was boasting from safety how Ukrainian offensive was lost and then they do the same suicide lollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll.

Regarding atacms - US sent only dozens for the time being but they already proved their value.

I do not believe anymore that Russia is in position to threat Ukraine existentially, that train already left.

Russia is attacking the most heavily fortified areas close to the Donbass. If they made an assault on a wide front all over the border and Belarus I doubt that Ukraine would hold up.
