Forces of the Lebanese resistance movement, Hezbollah, in continuation of their attacks on occupied northern Palestine, launched heavy attacks on Israeli army positions in the towns of Kiryat Shemona and Kfar Blum.

During these attacks, Hezbollah first targeted the headquarters of the 769th Eastern Regional Brigade in the Kiryat Shemona base. This attack occurred at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, which happened in two stages, and led to the sounding of sirens in the town of Kiryat Shemona and its surrounding areas.

The second attack took place at 9:40 PM Tuesday, during which dozens of Katyusha rockets were fired towards the town of Kfar Blum. Based on the videos released showing the moment of the attack, Israeli defense systems managed to intercept most of these rockets and repel the attack.

The third attack likely involved the firing of a guided anti-tank missile at a building in Kiryat Shemona, which successfully hit its target.

Hezbollah has stated in its statements that the two evening attacks on Tuesday were carried out in response to the Israeli regime’s attack on the town of Houla and the killing of three Lebanese civilians. The pressure of Hezbollah’s strikes on the northern Israeli-occupied Palestinian front and the escalation of conflicts have led the Israeli regime to resort to aerial attacks on civilian areas to retaliate for its losses and damages.

: In support of the resilient Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in reinforcement of their honorable resistance, the Islamic Resistance carried out a number of operations against sites and positions of the "Israeli" enemy army along the Lebanese-Palestinian borders on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, as follows:

- Eastern Sector:

1- At 14:20, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the settlement of Kiryat Shmona with appropriate weapons in response to the Zionist enemy's attacks on the steadfast southern villages and civilian homes, especially the attack on the town of Bint Jbeil.

2- At 14:30, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a gathering of "Israeli" enemy soldiers on Al-Tayhat Hill with rocket weapons and caused a direct hit.

3- At 14:30, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the Command headquarters of the Eastern Brigade 769 in the Kiryat Shmona barracks with appropriate weapons and caused a direct hit.

4- At 15:25, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a Merkava tank on Al-Tayhat Hill with appropriate weapons, resulting in its hit and destruction.

5- At 17:00, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted Ruwaisat Al-Alam site in the occupied Lebanese hills of Kafr Shuba with rocket weapons and caused a direct hit.

6- At 18:30, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the deployment of "Israeli" enemy soldiers behind Al-Baghdadi site with appropriate weapons and caused a direct hit.

7- At 20:10, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted Kfar Blum settlement with tens of Katyusha rockets in response to "Israeli" attacks on the steadfast southern villages and civilian homes, especially the targeting of a civilian house and the martyrdom of a woman, her husband, and her son in the town of Houla.

8- At 20:10, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a building in Kiryat Shmona settlement and caused a direct hit and confirmed injuries.

- Western Sector:

1- At 01:00, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted an "Israeli" enemy military force moving in the vicinity of Al-Raheb site with artillery shells and caused direct hits.

2- At 12:05, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a mechanized "Israeli" enemy force at Birket Risha site with a missile strike, resulting in a direct hit, the destruction of its equipment, and the outbreak of fire.

3- At 14:15, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a Merkava tank in the Netu'a settlement while it was bombarding and attacking villages and civilians with an ATGM, causing a direct hit and resulting in the crew members being killed or injured.

"Israeli" media: Severe damage was inflicted on an agricultural building after it was hit by an anti-tank missile launched yesterday evening from Lebanon towards "Avivim" settlement.

"Maariv" Hebrew newspaper: Hezbollah launched rockets yesterday towards the settlement of "Kfar Blum," which is located more than 5 km from the Lebanese border and has not been evacuated yet. One of the rockets directly hit a house's yard.

Yedioth Ahronoth Hebrew Newspaper: In the past four months, the "Israeli" army has realized that Hezbollah's arsenal also includes many precision munitions, some of which have a flat trajectory like advanced long-range anti-tank missiles, with a range of about ten kilometers. Some of these munitions do not require continuous line of sight between the launch platform and the target. Hezbollah Conducts Rocket Attack On Meron Air Surveillance Base In Northern Palestine (Video)

On March 10, Lebanon’s resistance movement, Hezbollah targeted the Meron area with dozens of rockets in response to Israel’s airstrike on the Al-Ain area and the killing of several civilians.

According to Israeli media reports, at least 30 rockets were fired in this attack, and defense systems of the Israeli regime’s army only managed to intercept a few of these rockets.

This attack marks the sixth Hezbollah strike into Israeli army positions in Mount Meron and the Meron Air Surveillance Base in the Upper Galilee region of the Israeli-occupied territories. This base plays a significant role in managing, monitoring, and controlling the Israeli regime’s operations in the region, especially in occupied northern Palestine and southern Lebanon.

It is worth mentioning that following the airstrike last night by Israeli fighter jets on the Al-Ain area in the Khirbet Salim neighborhood, five people were wounded and four individuals are missing. Lebanese rescue forces continued evacuating debris and tried to rescue the missing individuals of this attack on Sunday.

Some sources have also reported the deaths of the missing individuals in this attack. Hezbollah officials have emphasized in their speeches and statements that they will respond to Israeli attacks on civilian areas in southern Lebanon.

Early this morning, Israeli fighter jets attacked a building near Tariya town and a building at the intersection of Ansar town in the outskirts of Baalbak city with two missiles.

According to preliminary statistics, one Lebanese was martyred and several others were wounded during these attacks.

This attack is the second Israeli airstrike on Baalbek and the third airstrike deep in Lebanon. The Israeli army has started to escalate the conflict with Hezbollah by repeating the attack deep into Lebanon.

He then continued by saying that Biden can stop the export of weapons to Israel with one order. Throwing in some food is not going to convince any Arab, Muslim or free people around the world that Biden can't stop the war.

On the Lebanese front, especially in the last few weeks, the tension of the enemy and the anger of the settlers have increased, their cries are loud today, especially in the last few weeks, due to the continuation and intensification of the war. This front plays its role in putting pressure on the enemy economically and militarily.

In response to those who don't like the Gaza war in Lebanon, Sayyed Nasrallah says: I wish they would listen to the words of the israeli officials who talk about what is happening in the northern front. Sayyed then said that israel is hiding the damage caused in the north and quoted the Minister of War and the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces as saying: “Our soldiers are fighting in the Gaza Front and the Northern Front and are paying heavy costs.”

Sayyed Nasrallah talked about the fact that the israeli army has a severe shortage of soldiers and for this reason it wants to attract orthodox extremists.

Sayyed Nasrallah also said: The Resistance Nexus is in a position of power, the enemy is in a position of weakness, even the Americans, many of those who protest in America (and we should thank them) influence the American government. Sayyed also added that Biden is only afraid of losing the election and the pressure on him will lead to the end of the war.

What was interesting in Sayyed Nasrallah's speech was the very simple reference to the recent attacks of israel on Baalbek. He spoke casually about it and did not mention the Hezbollah’s response to those attacks deep in Lebanon.
