Seems to me that she would have the best possiblity of getting concessions from Russia because she is a well known hard core anti Russia person the media and Democrats and Republicans wouldn't claim she caved to Putin or was Putins puppet or some such rubbish... ie she could get away with throwing the Kurds and Ukrainians under the bus to get cooperation with Russia on China... but Putin is not that stupid and is not going to give up strong relations with China for slightly improved relations with the US... the US simply don't offer a good enough alternative.

Pretty sad that that is the best the US can put forward when dealing with Russia... plus a chance to monitor who she visits and find fifth column people too.
