Hezbollah announces:

As a response to israel targeting the Al-Mayadeen journalists, martyrs Farah Omar & Rabih Al-Maamari, and all the civilian martyrs, Hezbollah attacked a force from the "War Corps" affiliated with Israeli military intelligence while it was in a house on the outskirts of the al-Manara settlement.

The attack involved 2 ATGMs, resulting in casualties, both killed and injured.

The deal includes the release of 50 Israelis held in Gaza, in exchange for the release of 150 Palestinians from Israeli prisons.

Hamas noted that the hostages due to be released consist only of women and youths. Military aged men will not be released.

Specifics regarding the 4-day humanitarian truce in Gaza:

– The cessation of all IDF ground operations and military actions in the entire Gaza Strip.

– The complete cessation of Israeli airstrikes and air traffic in southern Gaza.

– The suspension of Israeli airstrikes and air traffic in northern Gaza for 6 hours each day, from 10 am until 4 pm.

– The unrestricted entry of trucks carrying humanitarian aid and fuel into all areas of Gaza, with no exceptions.

– Israel will guarantee the freedom of movement of people between northern and southern Gaza, along Salah Al-Deen road.

– Hamas will release 50 Israeli hostages held in Gaza, consisting of 38 teenagers under the age of 19, and 12 women.

– Israel will release 150 Palestinian women and children held in Israeli prisons.

Al-Mayadeen conducted a joint interview with Hamas's senior leadership member Osama Hamdan and PIJ's Political Bureau member Ali Abu Shaheen. Translated highlights posted below.


Ali Abu Shaheen:

— The enemy has submitted to what the resistance said from the first moment: that they would not recover their prisoners except on the resistance's terms.

— The resistance is in great condition, and inflicts losses on the enemy on a daily basis, engages with it from zero distance, and is in control of the battlefield.

— This truce was not gifted to us, but was won through the battlefield, through both the steadfastness of our people and our steadfastness in the battlefield. The same way we imposed this truce on the enemy, we will impose our victory.

— I expect the enemy to escalate again after this truce, but they will soon find they have no choice but to return to negotiating.

— They raised the ceiling [with their aims in the war], they climbed the tree, they can find their own way down, it's not our problem.

— We salute our brothers in Yemen, who despite their difficult conditions, have taken a grand decision to stand with us, not only with words but with real actions, which are critical for both morale and the pressure they put on the enemy.

— We salute our brothers in Hizbullah, who opened a front in the south of Lebanon, whose operations provide true, meaningful support with fire, not just words. Our brothers and allies put pressure in fire on our enemy, and this will lead us to victory, God-willing.

Osama Hamdan:

— This enemy cannot be trusted. They only accept deals under pressure, & only follow through with them under pressure. We know they can renege at any moment. This is why we insisted on releasing prisoners in stages, not wholesale.
If the enemy reneges the deal is off.

— The enemy wanted to retain a right move their vehicles in Gaza during the truce for 'logistical reasons'. We rejected this, and will consider any movement a breach of the truce. In the south, there will be no reconnaissance flights for the duration of the truce. In the north, reconnaissance flights will cease for 6 hours a day, and this is more than enough for us in order to conduct the exchange.

— We have no concerns regarding our military capabilities. This truce was arranged not for our fighters, but for the sake of our people, and not because they are tired, but to honor them for their legendary steadfastness. They deserve to take a breath. In the field, we retain complete control and are prepared to fight for as long as necessary.

— More than a fifth of the 1,300 IOF vehicles that entered Gaza have been damaged or destroyed. The enemy has 500 Merkava IVs in Gaza, and has lost enough of them that they had to recall the Merkava III's that were to be scrapped or sold. In the past 5 days alone, we destroyed more than 120 military vehicles. The enemy should know that 10 more days will mean 250 vehicles destroyed.

— The resistance has not used the full extent of its capabilities yet, and is conducting this confrontation in accordance to a prepared military plan and a strategic vision.

— We will fight until liberation. All that is happening serves this goal, whether it is truce, escalation, exchange, steadfastness, rockets: this is a path of liberation. The battle of Al-Aqsa Flood has set the resolve of the Palestinian people firmly upon the path to liberation.

Lebanese Resistance, Hizbullah: Our fighters attacked an infantry concentration of Israeli enemy soldiers at the site of al-Dahira and scored direct hits on their target.
