I heard there was supposed to be temporary halt to bombing soon . But did Israelis agree ? Was it their idea ? If it was their own idea , then they would not launch ground offensive just before temporary halt . I thought maybe Hamas Rockets were breaking through , SAM running low ? Or was it the Americans , getting brain injuries again and not liking it , that made a demand ? I think it was the American request , now rejected hastily . Like the attack on Gaza hospital ,  just before Biden visit . An early response ( a rejection ) to a future demand . Fait accompli !

The Israeli escalation came after nearing an agreement for a ceasefire, which included the release of all female prisoners.

According to the agreement, the resistance was supposed to release non-military foreigners as well.

The agreement included the occupation’s release of all Palestinian women, children, and youth under the age of 18 who were imprisoned in occupied Palestine.

In case of an humanitarian ceasefire, the occupation is prohibited from flying its warplanes, helicopters, and drones in the airspace of the Gaza Strip.

The humanitarian ceasefire would have lasted for 5 days and allowed for the Rafah crossing to open & flow of water, before the israeli aggression happened.
