It is stretched really thin by all the tributes Polish government pays to Ukraine.
For example, citizens of Ukraine need only a single month of working in Poland to obtain the same retirement pay that Poles need to work for around 20, 30, 40, or more years.
Also, Trump's U.S. government demands that Poland pay for the stationing of the U.S. troops on its own soil; this sounds Nazi-like. On top of that Polish government paid lots of money for "advanced" U.S.-made planes that the Polish military will not receive until a few years from now at the earliest.
I am not sure what will happen now with Biden.
It is the extreme subservience of the Polish government to the West and Ukraine that is very costly.
