    I've read on this forum that Russians don't think very highly of American men (I think "pindus" was the term? No clue, but it's supposed to mean you see our southern neighbours as being soft I think.). I'm wondering if you have the same opinion of us Northerners, or if we have more credit in your book.

    And if you're a non-Russian, feel free to answer how you think your countrymen see mine.

    I'm from Serbia and we (and pretty much most other people) do not view other nations as one amorphous blob (which is sadly how a lot of north Americans view other countries if media and comment sections are any indicators)

    We have aversion towards USA as a political entity because, honestly, they are behaving like psychopathic morons. I mean just look at the news...

    When it comes to ordinary Americans, that depends what kind of person each of them is. If I had to put one label on all of them I would call them uninformed. That would be it.

    But US politicians deserve to be skinned alive. And I am being kind here.



    Canadians (99% population and 90% politicians that we know of) are seen as pretty OK. This is helped by the fact that for the most part your politicians avoid doing stupid things. Unless they do something stupid because USA told them too. But everyone here knows that it's USA that calls the shots on that continent.

    For the record, I personally think that your previous prime minister is total pro-nazi retard. Good thing you ditched him. Smart move.

    Oh and we are all still pissed off about NATO aggression FYI.

    Since I am a Canadian I see Canadians in a mostly positive light. The same goes for Americans since I have been there more than
    a few times. The "proles" have little in common with the deciders and the media propaganda outlets. Too bad that so many trust
    the MSM propaganda spew and the absurd claims of the politicians. People around the planet should by default not trust the mass
    media and the government (that includes Russia of course). Let the f*cking elites kill each other in wars. The average citizen of a
    given country has nothing to gain from geopolitical machinations.

    I'm American, and I would say that the overwhelming majority of Americans are good people, but severely misinformed...which will be ever more so tragic if the Neo-Cold War ever goes hot!

    I'm just an immigrant in Canada and has been staying here for only a couple of years, so I dont think I have right to speak as a Canadian for the time being, however during my stay here and in my interactions with average Canadians, I can say many are generally polite and friendly (at least here in the maritime, people greet other people outside even when they are just strangers). One thing I noticed though that in my opinion isn't too fun is that most Canadians (and maybe Westerners in general) are too busy with alot of stuff, they seem to want to keep themselves always busy, I guess its with their culture, and so they seem to have lesser time for social interaction, another trait I noticed is Canadians are too focused on stuff they are working on and has little time for something else when busy. In social media (like Facebook) most Canadians i know always put their real address, real contact #s, real work place etc. in their profiles, they seem to think that you have to always be honest with whatever you do in social media and stuff like that.

    I am a Kiwi and generally will avoid watching something if it is American... mainly because so often there are: "You can't do that to me.... I am the president of the United States of America" type situations... or "The day after tomorrow" type... lets all go to Mexico to escape the cold... I mean they owe us for all the wonderful things we have done for them... like steal most of our southern states from them...

    Have been watching the TV Series Dark matter and I am enjoying it quite a lot.. good story line good acting etc etc.

    As a Kiwi I can appreciate a little of what Canada probably feels living next to a dominant psycho we have big brother Australia to fill that role for us.

    We get a lot of student teachers from canada in our schools... when is snows here we might get 4-5cm of snow over night and it will generally be gone by lunch time but the whole city closes down because of it... the Canadians laugh and say Canada would be closed 8 months of the year if they did that... but then we don't spend the resources they do on dealing with the snow because it is not really a problem here... more the very occasional distraction.

    Been to Canada on two vacations, both around the Rockies, Banff, Lake Louise, Galgary. Met some Crow Indians in Galgary, impressive people. Beautiful country, friendly people. The cancer of the banderas centered on Winnipeg is only visible online, not anywhere else.
