Turkey to restore “normal relations” with Syria

The Turkish Prime Minister, Binali Yıldırım, said during a press conference on Wednesday that his government is seeking to normalize relations with Syria in order to combat terrorism in the region. Yildirim did not go into specifics; however, this announcement comes just two weeks after the Russian and Turkish governments restored diplomatic relations. In early April, Algerian sources reported that the Syrian and Turkish governments were secretly negotiating in Algiers to restore diplomatic ties and handle Kurdish federalism in northern Syria.

You have to be kidding. The UK Brexit turned to very good news for Russia than anything. Laughing

Theresa May the new Prime Minister of Britain appointed BOris JOhnson
as the new foreign secretary . this is the same position as kerry and lavrov.

And who is Boris Johnson ?

    Syrian Civil War: News #8 - Page 30 Boris-Johnson

    Syrian Civil War: News #8 - Page 30 Boris-johnson-funny-photos

-The one that wrote a song about ERdogan having sex with a goat.. lol1

-And the very same one that called Putin a great leader and admire him ,and
was pushing for UK to join forces with Russia and Assad to defeat ISIS and
praise Russia role in the liberation of Palmyra.  Smile

and now Erdogan it looks.. some unconfirmed reports.. after seeing how isolated
Turkey was going to be.. hated by Syria,IRAN,IRAQ,RUssia, Europe ,and most in American Military ,and political elite taking distance from him.. including Obama. Ignored completely
in the Muhammed Ali funeral ,not allowed to talk.  Hated by the entire world ,So he seems ,or they claim at least , that are ready to normalize relations with Syria and stop supporting
    any Armed Mercenary.

Now apparently Erdogan is in talks with Damascus and the European
Union is also in talks with Damascus.. It looks pretty much like a light
at the end of the tunnel of the Syrian war.   Smile

Not exactly the happy ending i will have liked ,with all the leaders in NATO and Israel
who supported them.. put in jail.. but at least seems like there is a big chance of a real
    end of the conflict.

I think Ergodan has realised that while cheap oil from ISIS is financially very rewarding, the long term cost of bad relations with Russia and on again off again relations with the west that keep them in NATO where they are useful against Russia but outside the EU where they might make more money...

Well ultimately better relations with Russia will bring in more money and investment than anything ISIS can offer... especially while it is being bombed by Russia and the West.

Turkey can also feel Kurdisch question as pretty important. It is not Russians who arm and train Kurds.. not Russians are interested in feeding terrorism of ISIS in Turkey and not Russians who want to remodel ME destroying Turkey, Iraq, Iran and Syria to make one Kurdistan with US protectorate.

SAA run out of aircraft because of old air frames + over use. Russia still refuses to deliver MiG-29M2 and Yak-130 Syria ordered before 2011. SAA will have to use IRAMs when they run out of aircraft.

You are wrong. It was not Russia refusing to deliver jets to Syria as well as some other air defense stuff, but because Syria cancel contracts and use that money for more needed stuff. War change priorities.

If you see all this terrorist using Uniforms ,that you see in civil nations,
white helmets , with United Nations like logos , and all looking humanitarian staff. doctors
uniforms. Is to show how the terrorist understand very well that the public image is important too. So that when Russia or Syria bomb them ,the Human Rights organizations claim assad  bombing humanitarian workers.. doctors without borders etc.

new NBC assad Interview..   interesting and must see. Surprised

FSA launched offensive in Quneitra and Daraa. So much for 50+ settlements signed up to peace. Russia needs to stop fooling itself and end this damn war. Hitler wasn't beaten by appeasement. Hitler was beaten by war.

Russia MoD says SAA captured 568 settlements including 150 cities and 12000 sq km. I call that bull. If this were true, Putin would not be fighting in Syria till the day he kicks the bucket.

Putin have confirmed , that Kerry visit to Russia ,was all a show.. to make it look
US is cooperating in the fight against terrorism. It was more of the same , Public Relations.
the Cooperation to fight ISIS and Alqaeda between US and Russia only happened in
western mainstream media.  But in practice Kerry just wend there for public relations
after the ISIS terror attack in France , so Americans are not blamed for it.

    https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/kremlin-confirms-kerry-putin-not-discuss-military-cooperation-syria/

So there is nothing new in the US -Russia policies in Syria. Americans will continue
playing their double games. the only remaining questions is if France and Turkey will
change their anti-Syrian stance for real ? and get closer to Russia ,after NICE attacks and the
american lead coup attempt in Turkey.

It was a mil Mi 35 and it most probably wasn't shot down by ISIS. It looks (although there's no confirmation) like a red on red incident (Friendly fire from wingman).
