    Your Library? Empty Your Library?

Post  BTRfan Thu Aug 01, 2013 2:06 am

I thought folks might want to post pictures of their basic library. Note I have more bookcases [five more, each having three shelves] in another room, but many of those books are novels and one of the bookcases simply contains about 30-40 folders/packets with my writings, essays, notes, and musings.

This is my primary "library" and these are my most important and treasured books.

Since not all books can be about eugenics, a conspiracist view of history, politics, ideology, or military/survival guides/manuals, here's some other books, ranging from novels and comics/graphic novels, to poetry, chess guides, and such.

Amazing collection. Sadly I have nothing to contribute. Yet.. All the books that I have lying about are "Game of Thrones" and Python programming books. All books I had were left to my parents in Lithuania. A quite good collection of encyclopedias, even the old Soviet ones, books about ships and etc Smile Loads of vintage stuff

BTRfan, it's nice for me to see someone else who has a lot of books. You have some nice ones.

I have a lot of books. & I've gotten rid of boxes of books.

I've bought used books for years. One of my good finds was "Some Memories of a Soldier" by Hugh Lenox Scott, first printing, signed, at a garage sale for 25 cents. Very Happy
