🇳🇪🇺🇸🇫🇷The authorities of Niger asked France and the USA to close the bases and withdraw from the country.

    The US refused.

The Pentagon has said it will maintain its presence in Niger (about 1,000 troops) regardless of the “military junta’s” demands to end their military cooperation.

At the same time, the US State Department in coordination with Defense officials is preparing to order the immediate evacuation of US embassy personnel and nationals still in Niger.

“The U.S. is preparing to evacuate possibly most of its embassy staff from Niger, according to a U.S. diplomat and a U.S. official familiar with the discussions,” Politico noted.

Generally, American civilians are leaving so that only the soldiers remain…

Maybe the new government in Niger should raise some flags with Swastikas. In other parts of the world this helps to keep the money flowing.  Rolling Eyes

Working together with the people is infiltrating the region. Little rich from a "former" colonial power like Italy.

it will maintain its presence in Niger
Which is illegal under international law. The world should come together and help the people of Niger get rid of this illegal occupation!

It's funny to hear those western puppets talking about a military intervention when they can't rule over their own territory because of some guerillas.

And let's not even talk about their military capabilities to send troops in another country. They don't even have enough civilian trucks for that let alone military ones. And they shouldn't wait for nato vehicles since they are all burning in Ukraine.

According to a senator who was present at the meeting (source: , the senators agreed to adopt a resolution condemning the coup and commended ECOWAS leaders for their efforts to restore constitutional order in Niger, but they ruled out military options.

Earlier, it was reported that military instructors from the PMC "Wagner," based in neighboring Mali, had arrived in Niger.

Russia and Wagner didn't have anything to do with this, but now the opportunity presents itself... why not help a country cut the chains its colonial masters have been using on them to steal the wealth of Africa to make things more comfortable in Europe for itself.

If France wants to help Kiev then why can't Russia help a few countries in Africa... but lets not put it in those terms because Russia should help Africa no matter what France does moving forward.

Before the conflict in Ukraine started early last year Putin went to the EU and to HATO and gave them a detailed description of Russian wants and fears regarding the security situation in Europe between those parties and Russia and both just laughed in their face...

So why should Russia worry about the security concerns of such countries now?

Nice explanation. The only things he didn't explain were what's actually important:

More importantly the title is wrong... Wagner didn't kick anyone out... those French pricks were pretending to deal with terrorism while in fact they probably helped keep it going all this time because like the US forces in Syria pretending to fight ISIS but actually stealing Syrian oil, those French pricks were really just there ensuring access to Uranium and other resources they wanted to steal from the country.

The French were the guys sleeping under the cars pretending to fix them... Wagner were hired for the same job and got the car running smoothly very quickly and for a reasonable price.... of course you are going to tell the French to **** off and don't come back you bloody thieving pricks, and to the Russians you will say... those thieves used to do all sorts of other things for us can you help us out with those things too... and I am sure Russia or China or India or Brazil or South Africa or other new BRICS non colonial countries will be able to help in a way that is mutually beneficial and helps growth and development.

This will hurt the French and especially their pride almost more than anything, the continuing reduction of French as an international language.

DECLINE OF FRENCH LANGUAGE IN EX-COLONIES

Mali has become the first former French colony outside of North Africa to abandon French as its official language. As part of its recently approved new constitution, the language has been downgraded from ‘official’ to ‘working’ status. The country joins Morocco, Mauritania, Algeria and Tunisia in having demoted the language of their former occupier.

Mali now has 13 official languages, all indigenous: Bamanankan (Bambara), Bobo, Bozo, Dogon, Fula, Hassaniya, Kassonke, Maninke, Minyanka, Senufo, Songhay, Soninke and Tamasheq.

So far, only Algeria has taken the further step of quitting La Francophonie (L’Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie). This international body embraces countries with a large number of French speakers - and promotes the language on the basis of shared cultural influences and political interests. Given Bamako’s staunch anti-French tendencies of late, will it join Algiers in snubbing this symbol of French colonial sway too? Let us know whether you think it should.

Wagner boss expresses 'joy' over Victoria Nuland

The mere mention of the Wagner PMC has caused the US to consider recognizing the new government in Niger, Evgeny Prigozhin has said.

Speaking to journalists over the phone on Tuesday, Prigozhin was asked to comment on Nuland’s personal visit to Niger and her advice to the new government not to strike any deals with Wagner.

“I am proud of the boys from Wagner,” replied Prigozhin. “Just the thought of them makes ISIS and Al Qaeda small, obedient, silky boys. And the US has recognized a government that it did not recognize yesterday just to avoid meeting the Wagner PMC in the country.”

“This brings joy, Mrs. Nuland,” he quipped.
