Fantastic thread. Sad to see what is happening to my ancestral homeland but understandable due to the idiotic policies of Kiev.

That said, first image is daunting to look at. At first it seemed the separatists were losing and at the end there, BAM, they gain a large portion of territory all the way to the Azov sea.

My family is partially from Lviv (one side) and on the other, southern Ukraine, around the Donetsk area. Depending what side of the family, some came during the 30's and other came around the late 1800's. Some family is from Russia and Poland. Some sides are Jewish Polish.

No, I am not offended by this crap. Only thing I am offended by is Kiev and the crap they are spewing.

yeah, firstly ther were bad orgenised and just took land by the frist rebellion which ukr-regime was not ready to counter, when it did the rebel forces were not ready, they were just starting to materialise as a fighting force with army structures, and were heavly outgunned in manpower and armour, and the armour they captured in early days was not usable since no specialist were trained for that (this armour will play a big rolle in the later counteroffensive) thank god ukr army air force was like the army in HORRIBLE shape, so the air defence the rebels managed to pull up was actaully enough to destroy most of ukr army airforce in 2 months

then they devoloped more or less fighting capabilities and army structures as the battles advanced, ukr army was gaining now possition extremly slow and the rebels always did a planned retreat and shelled effectivly ukrainian columns, even ukr-army volunteer donbass battalion comander semon semchenko said that, that every city they took at some point in the war were "given to them"

then after they managed to bring the ukr-army offensive to a halt, and finnaly captured equipment now got back to use against ukr-forces, (1.200) voulunteers from donbss who trained in russia came back to use it, + russian aid was finally reaching now in just a couple of day they pushed the ukr army al the way to azov see with ukr-army leaving everything behind in panick while sourounding several brigades in donbass in pockets and pounding them with GRAD's basically all major ukrainian combat ready troops and armour got destroyed in just 1 week. sadly the advance was stoped by the treasons peaceplan from putin and the fifth column around him and now ukrainian forces regroup
