    The article states that there are currently no major U.S. troop deployments to South Korea, but probably they do not have to make any significant deployments since the South Korean military will do the bulk of the ground fighting.

    It appears that the MOABs are either insufficient to do the job and/or too unwieldy and cumbersome to be effectively deployed against a more modern military.

    Haha... threatening to use nukes against north korea... anyone else think that idea wont backfire?

    I am sure the nuclear response from nk wont be low radiation...

    Yeah, blame Russia and China... the Financial Times is like most western entities... trying to group all its perceived rivals so it can tar them all with the same axis of evil brush.

    The reality is that the US and west are quick to sanction what they call bad behaviour (but anything bad Israel does is self defence), but they never reward the opposite behaviour... acting in the wests interests... so of course NK is going to start testing nuclear weapons again because it is the only way to get the US to the negotiating table to offer concessions on their sanctions.

    Of course in this case with China and Russia on their side maybe this time they don't want talks, it is just a **** you to the west for all the bullshit from the past.

    Had the US not killed Gaddafi after he gave up his nuclear weapons program maybe they could have convinced North Korea to do the same. So now the US is just reaping its just rewards.
