These buildings are huge and multi-storey, solidly constructed back in Soviet times to withstand bombs, and underground halls that could survive nuclear blasts. Looking at the photos I would judge that the hypersonic penetrators punched through the roofs and numerous floor levels, then detonated as once they impacted the ground/concrete foundations. Sections of roof and the levels below have collapsed (or have been blow out) in some areas, but the buildings are large and strong enough to mostly contain the blast which then spreads out within the interior. We can't tell looking at the exterior from above but there will be utter ruination inside these structures. Reports of the facility being reduced to nothing but dust is entirely plausible, though admittedly in localised areas.

More than one way to work towards defeat of an enemy in the modern world, military, economic and this, data.

The largest Russian cyberattack: it will take weeks to restore the databases and systems of Ukrainian government agencies!

▪Ukrainian Justice Minister Stefanishyna confirmed the cyberattack on state registries, emphasizing that this is the largest attack in a long time.

▪“The work of the Unified and State Registers, which are under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Justice, has been suspended,” Stefanishyna writes.

▪It will take at least 2 weeks to restore the first three registries (civil rights, legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, as well as the real estate register).

▪She did not explain when the rest will start working.
    - RVvoenkor

    UPDATED as per below

Russian hackers XakNet dealt a powerful blow to Ukraine by attacking and “breaking” the National Information System, which is responsible for all databases in the country !!!

▪The blow was struck against the “National Information Systems” - the operator of all government data in Ukraine.

▪Unified state register of all organizations and individuals, all types of property, courts, debtors, convicts, powers of attorney, inheritance, notarial documents, documents of the Ministry of Justice, acts of civil status of citizens, mortgages, transactions, media, personal databases, etc.

    ▪All databases are downloaded accurately.

    ▪ Further, as a result of the attack on NAIS, hackers entered the infrastructure with all the data of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine , downloading a huge amount of data.

❗ The total volume of data is more than 1,000,000,000 (billion) lines!

▪Then it was decided to delete all available information. And not only there, but also on servers in Poland (it is very indicative, by the way, to store state data on foreign storage facilities. This is apparently what independence looks like in Ukrainian), where the backup copies were stored.

Screenshots of documents have already leaked onto the Internet. They can reveal various information, such as: who is behind the call centers in Ukraine, addresses of underground weapons manufacturing workshops, storage locations for imported ammunition and fuel.

The Ukrainian ministry itself announced a large-scale failure and that the databases were temporarily disabled.

The work of the department has been suspended, and it will take at least two weeks to restore, reported Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister Olga Stefanishyna. Now the website of the Ministry of Justice is also unavailable.

Now Russian hackers have at their disposal a single state register of all organizations and individuals, all types of property, courts, debtors, convicts, powers of attorney, inheritance, notarial documents, documents of the Ministry of Justice, civil status acts of citizens, mortgages, transactions, media, personal data databases.

XakNet decided to delete all available data, and not only there, but also on servers in Poland, where, by the way, copies of Ukrainian state data were stored.

Want a retaliatory strike for attacking Russia? Sorted. Effect boosted by falling SAMs Very Happy

Retaliatory Strike Delivered on Enemy Targets in Ukraine, Says Russian Ministry of Defense

    ▪ On December 18, 2024, a missile strike was launched from Ukrainian territory targeting the “Kombinat Kamensky” facility in Russia’s Rostov region. The attack involved six ATACMS operational-tactical missiles (U.S.-supplied) and four air-launched Storm Shadow cruise missiles.

    ▪ In response to the actions of the Kyiv regime, supported by Western handlers, a coordinated strike with long-range precision weapons was carried out this morning. The targets included an SBU command center, Kyiv’s “Luch” design bureau (responsible for designing and producing “Neptune” missile systems and ground-launched cruise missiles for the “Olha” MLRS), as well as a Patriot air defense system position.

    ▪ The objectives of the strike were achieved. All targets were destroyed.

    @JohninMK

So only now do we get the security and design office and Neptune production facility hits ? And only recently we had Oreshnik to hit underground missile facility ? This delay or pulling punches in my view , can not be explained by any real plan by Russia to capture intact such facilities , by fast advance of lightening war . The war is deliberate and slow grind into small pieces . It is undoubtedly based on a " gentleman's , " agreement . The NATO and Ukraine avoid hitting certain targets , Ships , Bridges , Leaders and vice versa , and so does Russia . A type of war by agreement .

This at a time , when the war can be described as existential for both sides . An antagonistic situation , nothing special about it . It is like saying : Two folk are in a knife fight , wanting to kill each other , but they agreed not to stab at the other's private parts ! It is failour of logic . This problem is worsened by ignoring important facts on the ground . It ignores Ukraine's great weakness in long range offensive capability and defensive ability . It ignores the dire economic and social situation in Ukraine , compared to a relatively healthy state in Russian economy and political life .

Under such circumstances , pulling punches or not finishing the enemy at once , is a mistake . NATO and Ukraine are doing their worst and they aim to destroy Russia . No sense in holding back . I have said this before , no limited war , no war by agreement . Russia can destroy and rebuild . Ukraine can do neither .

Yeah unfortunately with the school attack the West has the capability to escalate the situation beyond a point that Russian society is prepared to tolerate or forgive, no matter what Trump promises. And this is all escalating very rapidly. Tomorrow we may see an attempt on Putin's life, for all we know, or some sort of chemical attack. If the US wishes to provoke Russia into a war in the next 3 weeks then it will succeed. Russia will have to retaliate and not against the Ukraine, but those pulling their strings, it's the only way to stop the motion of events.

Drop FOABs on Kiev, especially on top of NATO embassies. This is not an escalatory move but quite enough to warn some fools in NATO.

Also, start assassinating key Ukrainian officials, like Governors, Generals, etc.

This Humanitarian war by Russia needs to end and transition to a War of Extermination Asap.

[And of course he will not respond outside of Ukraine. There have already been several more attacks by ATACMs, Storm Shadow, etc. on Russian territory and an assassination attempt on the general.

Well I think he will have to as everyone can see that hitting the Ukraine does nothing, and that the Ukraine itself is but a puppet on strings.
So what's the point of retaliating against it if it doesn't re-establish deterrence?

None of the attacks you named were successful, apart from the killing of the general.

And while the killing of a general is part of war, the targeting of a school with American missiles as part of a Western campaign of escalation and provocation is not part of war, it's a massive vile act of terrorism, and can only provoke an extremely visceral reaction from Russian society that the Kremlin might not be able to control. And it can be followed with more attacks tomorrow. If Russian air defenses were able to ensure security then that would be one thing, but we see that targets can always be chosen that they don't cover effectively.

That's a useless strategy - the Banderists only way to survive is to get NATO into a war with Russia, and therefore they will fulfill orders to do so regardless of the cost.

If you want these attacks to end, then you need to defeat Ukraine and fast.

Unless Russia cannot mobilize enough troops, the economic aspect is a side concern here. Once you deal with Ukraine the temp pinch will go away better a short pinch then. a low drawn out slow bleed.

to put this into perspective you guys STILL haven't captured half of Charsiv yar, do the math on how long you guys have been there

Literally from a strategic point of view, you guys can get more than enough men to force yourselves in and encircle hundreds of thousands of Ukie troops, they are all concentrated in specific spots, if you encircle and eliminate just half of the manpower Ukraine has on the Donbass front, Ukraine would literally crumble as it would not be able to replace those men in time before you could sweep forward..

the Ukie army is in a perfect position to be massively encircled but the russians cannot do it because they don't have the manpower as Putin refuses to declare war footing to this day.

I really do feel bad for those Russian troops being force to fight with tied hands, and the chance to defeat Ukraine soundly has been there for over a year but your leader will just not do what needs to be done

The West knows perfectly well that Putin will not do this. There will be another retaliatory attack, like there have been dozens since 24.02.22 in Ukraine. There have already been so many warnings and once again an attack on Russian territory. Of course, these attacks are not effective. It is only about compromising Russia. Putin himself has repeatedly threatened what he will not do when American and NATO missiles start falling on Russia. Then he pulled out Oreshnik and it still did not help. If you do not want to retaliate, you do not throw empty words and threats all the time. At the same time, the West will go further and further. In the first months of the war in the West they did not even think that they would send such quantities of weapons with impunity and so on.
