Even the SM-3 block II was no match for Iranian missiles.

actually you can - sending like 500, on one Oreskhin Oreshnik you got a pretty good chance. This way Russia can bankrupt west just with Oresnkihs alone

I am wondering how that strike with a prototype missile may have developed. Perhaps the Russians do want the IRBM back, and they may see an opportunity wiith Trump, so they had this test scheduled, and what better test then a live target. I am not sure if it is 6 or 36 projetiles that hit the factory, but I am pretty sure they will send a hail of super high energy shrapnel that will cause vast damage to all kinds of equipment. Also it shows the idiotic Europeans what they will be facing if they host US IRBMs in the future. So they maximized a scheduled test to send a powerful message. We will see what the moronic British and USA do next. Biden is a a traitor, its clear as day. Maybe the Russias need to provide the Houthis with missiles to stirke the RAF base in Cyprus. It would be an exact copy of what the British did to them. Also a way to strike US ships. But its possible they already did that, and that is why the US is angry and acting more deranged then normal.

Well the decisions are made by the few or the one . Then a country's fate rests on one person's psychology . Take the case of Iran ; for years there was no response to various assassinations and sabotage . This inaction lead to overt attack on Embassy . This necessitated an overt military action from Iranian soil . But still there was no proportionality . No Israelis were killed . And so on and so forth . Now Iranians are at a stage of having to wage war . Can you see similarities to Russia ? The numerous red lines being crossed ? Now there are ICBM's flying . There are various defence mechanisms in psychology . A person can be over reliant  on one defence mechanism . This is when maladaptive behaviours display themselves . Over intellectualization or over thinking a problem , instead of acting is one very common problem .

Basically it a two stage (instead of three) version of the Rubezh.

Rubezh is the two stage version of Yars.
Oreshnik has a larger payload and thus shorter range.

Do these stock/production numbers look reasonable? I though the Kalibre production seems pretty low since its used on so many platforms. Also it does not mention Tsirkon which should be in full rate at this point .
