| Follow-up of Hezbollah’s statement:
The Resistance has stayed true to its covenant and jihad for over 13 months, achieving victory over the deluded enemy who failed to break its resolve or spirit.
The battlefield spoke, and its pure-hearted fighters, relying on Allah Almighty, succeeded in dismantling the enemy’s goals, defeating its army, and writing with their blood the chronicles of steadfastness and resilience in the battles of Flood of Al-Aqsa and Those of Might.
On this glorious occasion, the Resistance announces the following:
• Since the beginning of Al-Aqsa Flood operations on October 8, 2023, Hezbollah has conducted over 4637 military operations (publicly announced) over 417 days, at an average of 11 operations per day.
• Of these, 1666 military operations have been carried out since the onset of the Israeli aggression against Lebanon and the launch of The Battle of Those of Might operations on September 17, 2024, with an average of 23 operations per day. These operations targeted enemy army bases, military posts, and Israeli cities and settlements, from the Lebanese-Palestinian border to beyond Tel Aviv. They also included heroic responses to enemy ground incursions into Lebanese territory.
• As part of The Battle of Those of Might operations, the Islamic Resistance executed 105 military operations in a series of Khaybar operations, targeting dozens of strategic military and security bases, some of which were struck for the first time in the history of the Zionist entity. These operations used precise and advanced ballistic missiles and drone attacks, reaching as far as 150 kilometers beyond Tel Aviv, deep inside the occupied Palestinian territories.
• The cumulative losses suffered by the Israeli enemy since it began its ground advance into Lebanese territory on October 1, 2024, until the issuance of this statement include:
• The death of over 130 soldiers and officers, and more than 1250 injured.
• The destruction of 59 Merkava tanks, 11 military bulldozers, 2 Hummer vehicles, 2 armored vehicles, and 2 personnel carriers.
• The downing of 6 "Hermes 450" drones, 2 "Hermes 900" drones, and a "Quadcopter."
• It should be noted that these losses do not include those incurred in the enemy’s military bases, posts, settlements, and occupied cities.
Hezbollah Operations Room emphasizes the following:
• Throughout the Israeli enemy's ground operation inside Lebanese territory since October 1, 2024, and due to the steadfastness of our fighters in the field, the enemy’s attempts to occupy or entrench in any town of the first line of defense have failed. These towns have been under attack since the beginning of Flood of Al-Aqsa, and the enemy could not establish a military or security buffer zone as it had hoped. It also failed to stop the launching of rockets and drones targeting the occupied land. Even on the last day of aggression, our fighters continued to strike deep into the enemy’s heart from the border towns.
• The 2nd phase of the ground operation was merely a political and media declaration, as the enemy was unable to advance into the second-line towns of the front. It suffered significant losses in Khiyam, from which it retreated three times, as well as in Aainata, Tallouseh, Bint Jbeil, and Qouzah. The only attempt to advance into the towns of Al-Bayyada and Shamaa in the western sector became a graveyard for the enemy’s tanks and elite soldiers, who were forced to retreat under the blows of the Mujahideen.
• The Resistance’s defense plans are based on an area-specific defense. The Resistance has prepared more than 300 defensive lines south of the Litani River, with each area fully prepared in terms of manpower, equipment, and resources. What happened in Al-Bayyadah and Khiyam is a testament to this readiness.
