To be fair an earlier prototype is probably closer to any aircraft an export customer might be buying in comparison to the latest and best or an in service aircraft.

I'd like to know much runway she needs when carrying a typical air superiority loadout and with full tanks. With AB and without. I'll bear my arse on Bourke St if it isn't less than both the Fail-22 and 35.

Yeah, I addressed that a while ago.
The Su-57 run-up distance is classified, but on multiple occasions, it turned out to be shockingly short. In one of the episodes of Voyenna Priyomka, they presented some crazy stuff. When considering the fuel truck in the background as a benchmark, I would dare to evaluate it at a range of +/-100m. That was achieved with stage one engines, and of course, the plane was probably unarmed and not fully tanked, but still, it is crazy.
I am pretty sure that those planes won't need catapults when operated from a 200m deck and new engines.

In general, the Su-57 was designed for good maneuverability even at supersonic speeds. Think of the kick it will get with the new engines. This is the most perfect airframe of the 5th generation machines.

..while stupid Westeners continue to mock the Su-57 cuz the early T-50 development prototypes have protruding screw heads and gaps between panels, so it can't be a true 5G warbird...
These retards just can't learn... no matter how wrong they are proven to be. Eurotrash eejits will still extol "Western technological superiority" even after Su-57s drop hyperbaric bombs in Brussels to demolish NATO headquarters and all aircraft & crews return to base unscathed.

Re: Su-57 Stealth Fighter: News #9
A batch of fifth-generation Su-57 fighters and 4++ generation Su-35S aircraft has been transferred to the Russian Defense Ministry, Rostec reported.
According to United Aircraft Corporation CEO Vadim Badekha, the next batches of these aircraft will be delivered by the end of the year, and "the machines are at different stages of production and testing."
Rostec CEO Sergey Chemezov said that the Su-57 is the only fifth-generation fighter jet that has confirmed its breakthrough characteristics in all combat applications, and taking into account this experience, it continues to improve.

So, we can safely assume that in 2024 from 5 to 12 Su-57s have already delivered to the VKS.

This was a total BS non-issue for the T-50 prototypes. The panels were properly seated and the "rivets" had normal levels of protrusion. These surface
texture details are handled by RAM paint. NATzO lemmings know jack shit about EM interaction with complex objects and go off retarded claims about how
the F-22 is supposedly smoother than a black hole event horizon. Meanwhile the F-22 has chunks of its coating falling off.

Re: Su-57 Stealth Fighter: News #9
The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) announced the latest transfer of serial Su-35S and Su-57 fighters to the Russian Aerospace Forces, with a corresponding video attached.
Against the backdrop of the upcoming opening of the Airshow China 2024 air show in Zhuhai, China, on November 12, where one of the prototypes of the T-50-4 Su-57 fighter jet that arrived there has, however, already been criticized in the media and social networks for its allegedly “poor stealth”, special attention should be paid to the photos and videos distributed by UAC, which allow us to examine in detail the skin of the serial Su-57 and draw a conclusion as to whether it can be considered a fifth-generation fighter or not.
A visual comparison shows that despite all the external similarities, the Su-57 aircraft, serially supplied to the troops, has a significant difference - a special coating to reduce its radar visibility. The T-50-4 prototype flying in Zhuhai does not have such a coating - a comparison clearly confirms this. Why a "naked" machine from among the early prototypes was sent to the exhibition in China is a rather rhetorical question. It would be surprising if a complete serial secret fighter was sent to a public exhibition abroad for all sorts of "feelings" and measurements.
With such input, it is rather pointless to discuss further the external flaws of the Su-57 prototype presented in Zhuhai and why “bolts instead of rivets” are used there. The coating of serial Su-57 aircraft and their appearance leave no room for further interpretations – everything is fine with them. But in fairness, we will still add that bolts along with rivets can be found in the skin of absolutely any fifth-generation aircraft, be it the Russian Su-57, the American F-22, F-35 or the Chinese J-20. Moreover, rivets come in different types, including Phillips-headed ones – it is quite easy to confuse them with bolts. In other words, criticism of the Su-57 for its bolts does not stand up to any criticism.
The point of injection of negativity about the Su-57 prototype at the exhibition in Zhuhai was the American social network X, from where it was dragged away by the media, primarily from the USA. The scenario of the scandal's dissemination clearly indicates who exactly is interested in discrediting the Russian stealth aircraft.
Meanwhile, the Su-57 prototype on display in Zhuhai showed itself excellently during the training of the exhibition's flight program. Not every modern aircraft is capable of performing such figures in the sky. Let us add that serial Su-57s are successfully fighting in Ukraine today and winning (at least for now) the confrontation with the American Patriot air defense systems, thereby clearly demonstrating, perhaps, the main property of a full-fledged fifth-generation fighter - the ability to effectively operate in "contested" airspace.

You can't take any of 404's trolling and trashing seriously. NATzo have done so for decades now, but deep down they know very well that this machine is a real threat to their now deeply flawed "air superiority" doctrine.

The West will try to maintain its advantage through quantitative superiority. At least on paper it will look good. In Europe they want to have over 600 F-35s and there are about 600 EFs. On paper it is impressive. Their operational capability is another matter.
