On the other hand, this is what Herr Schulzenleberwurst was kind to say :
2200 kilometers northeast of here in Moscow, Putin is holding a parade with soldiers, tanks and missiles. We should not be intimidated by such a show of force. We must remain true to our support for Ukraine for as long as it takes. The message of this ninth of May should not be that it comes from Moscow. Our message is that the past cannot prevail over the future.
So considering this perspective, a small parade with smiling girls as the core part of it, one tank, and half a dozen of trucks makes his words even more pathetic.
Because this parade was the very last thing that could have scared anyone.
Maybe that was one of the goals.

The parade has never been about scaring anyone.
It is about remembering a time when the Soviets had to defend themselves from bloodthirsty Germans that were trying to wipe them out and steal their land.
Sensible to remember that because it is happening again.

Last year they said that instead of sending tanks and planes to the frontlines evil Putin is holding a big parade.
This year they say that Russia is out of tanks because there is no big parade in Moscow.

It is something the Chinese and Russians have finally come to terms with... it doesn't matter what you do the west will always find fault and complain or declare victory in the one sided war they have started themselves.
