US Coastguard Icebreakers
Wow... they are amazing... imagine being able to replace an engine on a ship the same way it has been done around the world for decades... what a bunch of geniuses.
I also love how they described it as the best... in the US Coast Guard Fleet... can't admit there are better ships around?

Pay some respect, both the icebreakers they have are museum exhibits!

I don't think they've done something like this before on a big ship.GarryB wrote:Wow... they are amazing... imagine being able to replace an engine on a ship the same way it has been done around the world for decades... what a bunch of geniuses.

Every1 knows that Russia has the lead in icebreakers, so the USCG had to get it done on its best ice ship.
Now they don't need to lease any icebreaker & it will be at least a few more years before a new 1 will be ready for the Arctic.
