🇸🇾 There are indications that the Turkish military operation in northern Syria is imminent!

🔸 Syrian and Russian forces are withdrawing from the Ain Arab (Kobani) and Ain Issa fronts in northern Syria. A video shows Russian and Syrian forces moving from areas controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) to more remote positions in Raqqa province.

🔍 These movements are likely in response to an impending attack by Turkish-backed terrorist groups on the cities of Ain Arab and Ain Issa. Reports from northern Syria suggest that the Syrian National Army (SNA) terrorists will soon launch an assault on northern Syria with air and artillery support from the Turkish army.

📝 The anticipated militant attack on this axis will target the positions of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the cities of Ain Arab, Ain Issa, and Manbij.

    🇸🇾⚡Military source:

There is no truth to the news circulated by terrorist pages and some media channels that terrorists are entering the city of Hama, and that the situation in the entire city of Hama is normal and safe, and that our armed forces are stationed in their deployment sites near and far from the city and in all directions and are fully prepared to repel and confront any possible attack.

🇸🇾 Field Report from Hama to Al-Mayadeen: The Syrian army successfully repelled a major militant assault on Jabal Zain al-Abidin in northern Hama. Despite using drones and various advanced weapons, the militants suffered a crushing defeat. Over 300 fighters were killed in one of the largest battles seen in the area in recent days.

The Syrian army executed a precise ambush targeting the "Red Bands," an elite militant force affiliated with Al-Qaeda and led by Abu Al-Yaqzan Al-Masri. The ambush inflicted heavy casualties and destroyed significant equipment.

The fighting continued through the night and into the early hours, culminating in the withdrawal of the remaining militant forces. This decisive loss is expected to undermine militant operations on parallel fronts in the Hama countryside in the near future.

🇸🇾⚡SDF attacked the positions of Turkish allies in Aleppo last night in order to take control of the Koirs airport and the eastern areas of Aleppo province.

According to local sources, SDF forces have started their operation from two axes, one south of "Al-Khafsa" towards the "Babiri" power plant and the other "Deirhafer" using suicide drones.

Following this attack, a number of elements of the "Al-Jish al-Watani" group (former FSA) have been surrounded by Kurdish militias.

According to these sources, the Kurdish elements were able to take control of the "Babiri" hydropower plant and make the elements of Al-Jish al-Watani flee. This power plant is considered the most important source of water transfer to the center of Aleppo province.

🌟 Syrian Military Source: There is no truth to the reports provided by terrorist sources regarding their arrival at the Al-Mazarib Bridge area or their entry into any neighborhood of Hama city. All our forces, with their vehicles and equipment deployed on the outskirts of the city, are stationed at advanced points and form impregnable defensive lines to face any terrorist infiltration attempts.

How did 15K terrorists accomplish all this so fast?

Russia has a lot to learn from this and apply same tactics against Ukraine. These terrorists gained 1 and half provinces in days/week. Shit, if Russia applied same thing, they would be at Odessa already.

    Syrian War: News #23 - Page 24 GeCS2AMW8AAd8zB?format=jpg&name=large

Statement Issued by the General Command of the Army and Armed Forces

In recent days, our armed forces have fought fierce battles to repel and thwart the violent and successive attacks launched by terrorist organizations on the city of Hama from various fronts, with large numbers of fighters using all available means and military equipment, and supported by infiltration groups.

During the past hours, as confrontations intensified between our soldiers and terrorist groups, and as the number of martyrs in our ranks increased, these groups managed to breach several axes in the city and enter it, despite suffering heavy losses.

In order to protect the lives of civilians in the city of Hama and to avoid involving them in urban combat, the stationed military units have redeployed and repositioned themselves outside the city.

The General Command of the Army and Armed Forces affirms that it will continue to fulfill its national duty in reclaiming areas that have been infiltrated by terrorist organizations.

It seems that the Syrian Army has also abandoned Hama and is retreating towards Homs. They must defend Homs at all costs because the oil pipelines coming from eastern Syria converge there, and it leads to Latakia and Tartus. Additionally, there is a large refinery in Homs.

Well no because the Ukrainians actually dig in and occupy civilian buildings and build defenses
They also don't care about casualties
They're also being armed by all of NATO

The SAA seems to not have heard about defenses or bothered building anything in the years since Aleppo was liberated and fighting died down. And they seem to be very casualty averse, as evidenced by their abandonment of Hama. I fail to understand their logic about not wanting to subject civilians to urban fighting by attempting to defend the city. It's not like HTS will act likewise when it's the turn of the Syrian army to retake the city; they will dig in and the civilians won't be spared urban fighting in any case.

Russia can afford such tactics in Kharkov and Kherson as it wasn't fighting on friendly territory anyway. They can come and go. Syria really cannot. They have abandoned 3 million of their own citizens over the past week by losing these cities. And they don't have the strategic depth to keep doing that. The pace that they are losing territory is going to kill morale if it hasn't already.

What I can tell you guys is Telegram channel's that are Russian do not like criticism. I've been banned by 3 of them. Clearly Russia is fucked on multiple fronts and if you even show concern, they consider it trolling and you get banned.

    They are spineless.

I can think of lots of sides which are fucked but none of them is Russia. Russia is doing just fine.

As for Syria, they can't be bothered to defend themselves. Ideally Russia should sign a separate peace with Erdogan and give him enough of what he wants, in return for a peace process on Syria and effectively disassociating with the ongoing CIA adventure there on overthrowing Assad and cutting off Iran and so on.

But if Erdogan's not going to go for that then Russia will have to get involved and so will Iran, and storm Hama, Aleppo and Idlib themselves. And Turkey must be considered as the rest of NATO, an enemy and one intent on opening a 2nd front against Russia.

"The settlement of Akerbat in the province of Hama came under the control of militants.

The same one for which the Wagner PMC stormtroopers fought hard in the summer and fall of 2017, and which was completely taken by the forces of the "orchestra" assault squads on September 15, including the forces of the 1st ShO Ratibor. After the capture of the city, the Syrian army entered it beautifully in front of the cameras.

Scouts of the 3rd Guards Separate Special Forces Brigade and SSO specialists also took part in the storming of Akerbat. It was for the battles near Akerbat that Corporal Denis Portnyagin received the Hero of Russia star; in August 2017, during the advance to the city, servicemen of the 3rd Brigade were killed - Captain Kurban Kasumov and Sergeant Valery Evdyukov."

The militants' next target will be the key city of Homs, which is less than 40 kilometers away. Its capture will cut off the Syrian coast, where Russian bases are located, from the central part of the country, not to mention opening the way to Damascus."

It was obvious that without conquering Idib, which has become a terrorist stronghold, everything will fall apart in the future. Erdogan outsmarted Putin, which was predictable in 2016. The same as with Minsk, etc.

This operation resembles Balakleia operation done by Ukrainians in the autumn of 2022, just on a much larger scale and with more serious implications. With differences being that Russians where numerically inferior and fought while retreating and Syrians are just fleeing. There's no will to fight at all aside for isolated units. Without injection of several tens of thousands of fighters from outside this will continue and get worse.

Another example that should teach Russians/Putin not to make rotten deals. Time to learn.

This collapse has to be addressed first and only then you can see what can be done. If i was Russia, i would start low key preparation for creation of some kind of Alawite republic, that existed during interbellum period.
