Nobody Wanted to Die: Even the Star's Breasts Didn't Increase in the Army Recruitment, by Victoria Nikiforova for RiaNovosti. 08.05.2024.

While Western strategists are giving us powerful strategies for their military dominance every day, reality has thrown them an unpleasant surprise. People don't want to join the American army, officially the richest, most sophisticated and, as Trump would say, "super-duper" army. That is, according to the schedule, the Americans are either at war with Russia or at war with China, but in fact there is no one to fight.

Let's abandon the sweet dreams of the Hollywood factory, in which valiant marines are constantly overcoming hordes of aliens, monsters and zombies. Let's see what is actually happening with recruitment into the US Armed Forces. Recruitment targets have not been met for ten years in a row, and the figures are deteriorating with each passing year.

In 2023, the Air Force, the super-elite of the US Armed Forces, was short 10 to 40 percent of its recruits across its various structures. The Army was short more than 10 percent of its recruits, the Army Reserve was short nearly 40 percent. The legendary US Navy was short 20 to 45 percent of its recruits.

In an attempt to somehow improve the indicators, the command decided to attract Hollywood star and hero of numerous Internet memes, actor Dwayne Johnson, nicknamed The Rock, for promotion. The Pentagon made him an ambassador of the American army. It was assumed that Johnson, who has more than half a billion subscribers on social networks, would write five posts and receive a million dollars for each. After reading these posts, young people would be inspired and go to serve.

There is probably no need to clarify that Johnson himself never served in the army. He is just a big bald guy with a lot of money. He can also wiggle his nipples: in the film "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" he even throws berries with them. In general, just what the American army needs.

As a result, nothing came of the deal of the century. Johnson published only two posts, and the effect of them was negative: after this advertisement, the army did not acquire a single recruit and only lost 38 people. Now the Pentagon has filed a lawsuit against Johnson for 11 million dollars, the commanders are disappointed.

Jokes aside, people don't volunteer to join the US Armed Forces. Neither Dwayne Johnson's pectoral muscles nor impressive salaries help - the Navy has increased payments to 140 thousand a year, but there is still a huge shortfall.
Requirements for recruits are being lowered every year - less and less attention is paid to physical fitness and IQ, they take everyone, promise American citizenship, all sorts of bonuses, scholarships to the best universities in the country, free medical care, any operations and even gender reassignment at government expense. The navy has raised the draft age to 41. But people see perfectly well that the leadership dreams of a big war, which means that all these bonuses will have to be paid for with their own lives.

The fact is that the face of modern warfare has changed rapidly, and now there are practically no territories left in the world suitable for an American safari. In the Middle East, American soldiers regularly receive missile and drone strikes on their bases. In Ukraine , American mercenaries who came there to hunt were astonished to see that they were being killed.

All this was unexpected - in the US, entire generations grew up confident that their military was simply invincible. Now this is not the case: American fighters have begun to be destroyed all over the world, everyone can see this perfectly well, and no one is in a hurry to join the army.

Today, the American Armed Forces are so short of men that the country has started talking about reinstating the mandatory draft. Another myth has collapsed before our eyes – that of a professional army that can solve all combat tasks. As it turns out, it cannot – especially if the country’s elite is doing everything to start a world war.

The fair-skinned adherents of professional armies will probably be surprised, but in fact, compulsory conscription into the army in the USA exists. Half a century ago, after the lost Vietnam War and mass riots of citizens, President Nixon was forced to simply put it on pause. However, it can be resumed at any moment - all you have to do is declare that "the country is in danger."

The problem was with registration - American men of draft age were in no hurry to fulfill their civic duty and enter their data into the all-American registration system. Although by law absolutely all young men in the United States are required to report themselves - both stateless migrants, and people with disabilities, and even transgender people who have changed their gender from male to female.

However, this problem is now being solved. In June, Republicans in Congress passed a law on automatic registration for military service for all men aged 18 to 26. It was assumed that the Democratic Senate would kill this law. However, for now they are proposing to expand the law and automatically register not only men, but women as well.

All this looks like preparation for the return of compulsory conscription. But it is unlikely to help increase the number of recruits - flying to the other end of the world and dying there ingloriously for the interests of rich people like the same Rock Johnson is not a very good prospect.

How ‘Diversity, Equity and Inclusion’ Trojan horse has undermined US military

An analysis of internal DoD documents by the Daily Caller has revealed that the US Air Force has been excluding white male applicants from its popular Reserve Officers’ Training Corps program in favor of minorities.

Team Biden went to work on DEI and ‘equity’ (not to be confused with equality) guidelines for the military immediately after stepping into office, firing off several executive orders in January 2021 designed to ‘advance racial equality and support undeserving communities,’ ‘combat discrimination’ and facilitate trans individuals’ ability to serve, and complimenting them with a June 2021 E.O. on ‘Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility in the Federal Workforce’.

The directives sparked a series of bizarre DEI-related scandals in the US military. Here are some of them:

🌏 In 2021, the Air Force and Navy faced widespread derision after rolling out maternity flight suits, with Tucker Carlson calling the move a “mockery of the US military,” and highlighting the absurdity of having “pregnant women…fight[ing] our wars.”

🌏 In June 2023, facing an outcry from GOP lawmakers, the military was forced to ban drag shows on bases, deeming them “inconsistent with regulations regarding the use of resources,” with a DoD spox scrambling to assure that “the Department does not fund drag shows or drag activities.”

🌏 In October 2023, the advocacy group which won a historic Supreme Court case against race-conscious admissions to US universities brought cases against West Point and the US Naval Academy on grounds of DEI-based prejudice. The Supreme Court binned the West Point case in February 2024, but the Naval Academy’s affirmative action trial kicked off this past week.

The staggering costs of Pentagon DEI initiatives has also garnered considerable attention and criticism, with spending jumping from $68 million in 2022, to $86.5 million in 2023, and $114.7 million in 2024.

The funds provide for things like mandatory diversity training and the hiring of onsite ‘diversity officers’ to ensure compliance.

🌏 The Biden Pentagon has been hailed as 'the most diverse in history', with racial and sexual minorities receiving a host of top jobs, from a proud lesbian tapped to serve as Air Force undersecretary, to a transgender assistant secretary of defense.

But these DEI ‘milestones’ have not helped the military achieve its goals over the past four tumult-filled years, with the humiliating withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021 and the US Navy’s impotence against the Houthis from January 2024 onward showing that more diversity does not mean more won battles.

In fact, DEI seems to have only made things worse, with the military facing an unprecedented “crisis of recruitment, trust, and spending,” as Newsweek recently put it, with some observers and lawmakers on Capitol Hill talking about reinstating the draft, or offering migrants citizenship in exchange for service as recruitment numbers drop 20-40%, public trust in the military plummets, and morale and readiness described as among the lowest since WWII.

Actually drag shows have a long tradition in the British military because the musical shows didn't have a lot of women to fill female roles so men had to step up...

If you watch Blackadder goes Forth (set in WWII) you will see one episode with a drag show in it and of course the TV series, "It ain't half hot mum", was set in the India/Asia/Pacific theatre about a troupe of entertainers... absolutely classic... Windsor Davies was perfect as the Sergeant major... with his "lovely boys" and his "Shut ups".

In a further irony when they are offering to pay for transition surgeries the alphabet people are going to flood to the forces for fast tracked careers... with all those men in uniform... you could fake being an alphabet person just to help your career...

And you could milk it. Decide you are a woman.... despite having a biological male body, and also decide that you are a lesbian that is attracted to women... You therefore meet the minority criteria and up the ladder you will go... and feel a big sorry for those you leave behind because you are probably not wearing underwear....What a Face No No No

The British ruled the waves back then because their ships had remarkable endurance on sea. Big part of that cause of the bum rations. Razz
