We acted super pissed off about there being a delay than a news source comes later that there is no delay on Yenisei. We get pissed at Rogozin, they know have to make him a hero that he is defending the nuclear project from the evil goverment that wants to shut it down. If the general public was to vote for which projects they want they would all vote for the nuclear space tug over ROSS or the joint lunar station project with the chinese. As much as they have not explained why the 2023-2024 rockets or how much better they are than their latest expandable rockets or why they will have impact on the market over competitors re-usable rockets, We now get super fucking irritating news again that there is considered opposition of the nuclear space tug project which is the biggest fucking thing in the century that I was looking forward to.

The Russians are spying on you Gopnik.

I think its more like a project review than an actual "defense" such as having to fight off the budget-cutter nazis. Russia would be nuts to cancel or scale back Zeus. This project, more than any other, is the real deal when it comes to innovation and impact on future operations.

Sputniks is preparing to launch satellites in early 2022.

Sputniks ("Satellite Innovative Space Systems") is a private Russian company established in 2011, which is engaged in the development of promising technologies for creating satellite platforms and the production of microsatellite and nanosatellite service systems.

As part of the Space-Pi program, which is supported by the Innovation Promotion Foundation, the company will launch small satellites into space, whose task is automatic identification of ships and remote sensing of the Earth.

Now the spacecraft are being tested and prepared for launching into orbit. We intend to finish all the preliminary work at Sputniks by the end of this year. And in the first quarter of the next one, send them into space.

Roscosmos has created a new AESA receiving and transmitting module for high-speed orbital radio lines.

The Russian Space Systems Holding Company (RKS), part of the state Corporation Roscosmos, announced the development of a next-generation active phased array (AESA) receiving and transmitting module. The solution opens the way to the deployment of high-speed orbital radio lines.

Russian specialists have created new modules for AFAR with the function of adjusting the phase and amplitude of the ultrahigh frequency (microwave) signal. The product is based on an electronic component base of RKS's own development.

The module components are mounted on microwave boards created on the basis of the highly reliable LTCC (Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic) technology.

"The advanced materials, the set and layout of the module elements are selected in such a way that, with low energy consumption, it ensures the perfect operation of the emitters-microstrip antennas, which, when transmitting and receiving signals, will be continuously exposed to the harsh conditions of outer space" – the message says.

The new AESA has 144 emitters. The mass of the entire antenna assembly will slightly exceed 15 kg, and the power consumption will be about 140 watts. At the same time, the system will provide a bandwidth of up to 2400 Mbit/s, which is twice as much as compared to current complexes.

It is expected that the new development of the RKS will be used to transmit information from Russian satellites to the Earth, including remote sensing devices with high-resolution equipment.

Dmitry Rogozin said that about 15 space launches are expected by the end of this year.

About 15 launches of space rockets from different spaceports are planned until the end of 2021. This was announced on Tuesday by the general director of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin.

The head of the state corporation recalled that last week the 15th launch of the year took place. "Until the end of the year, there will be about the same number of launches from various launch sites of Russian launch vehicles," Rogozin said during the scientific and practical conference "Orbit of Youth".

This year, it is expected to launch two manned missions (Soyuz MS-19 with a movie crew, Soyuz MS-20 with two Japanese tourists), the Berth node module, the Progress MS-18 cargo ship and three rocket launches with OneWeb satellites, as well as other launches.
