They had to float this after the media was exposed as liars for claiming the Hunter Biden corruption scandal was "Russian disinformation". The World Bank has revised their "data" and figures.   I clearly recall that they had total resource rents about 13.7% several
years ago.   Then they went down to 11%.   Now that I look for the same links I find revisions where the total resource rents
have jumped to 15% and a new category, oil rents, pegged at 10% has showed up.   Clearly something smells at the WB.

The WB revised data shows Russia's oil/resource rents minimizing in 2016 and then shooting back up by almost a factor of two.
This is clearly some sort of forex and oil price based evaluation.    The problem with this BS is that Russia's GDP did not fluctuate
this way.   If the natural resource rents fluctuated from 8.7% to 15.1% then the GDP would have fluctuated by 7.6%.  So the
World Bank is using Russia's nominal GDP in dollars since that "measure" has this sort of variation.  So this variation is all forex
when looking at the variation of oil prices and nominal ruble GDP over the same time.

The clowns at Investocrapia take Russia's oil and gas exports in dollars and divide them by Russia's nominal GDP in dollars.  
So in 2014 when the ruble forex fell by 50%, the supposed fraction of oil and gas in Russia's GDP doubled (ignoring
that oil and hence gas prices fell, since that does not change my point).   That is how retarded this "analysis" is.

The irony is that in this case the western propaganda is not directed at Russian citizens, but citizens of the west... look at how bad it is in Russia... maybe the shit you go through to live like kings the way you do is worth it...
