🇾🇪/🇮🇱 Yemeni Army Hit Tel Aviv With One Missile!

This morning, the Yemeni army launched a "Palestine-2" ballistic missile at Tel Aviv in retaliation for Israeli attacks on Yemen.

Surprised: The Israeli Red Star of David reported that 37 people were injured in the missile attack on Tel Aviv.

👉 The Israeli defense systems, including the Arrow systems, failed to intercept the Yemeni missile. Notably, the Yemenis had fired only one missile at Tel Aviv, and it successfully hit its target.

The Israeli newspaper Ma'ariv reported that this marks the fourth instance where the Arrow system has been unable to intercept Yemeni ballistic missiles. According to IWN, the Yemeni army has launched a total of nine Palestine-2 missiles at Israel since the start of the war, with each attack involving only one or two missiles. This inability to intercept a small number of missiles highlights the weaknesses of Israel's air defenses.

🇾🇪🚀🇮🇱 A Yemeni ballistic missile successfully struck Tel Aviv, bypassing Israel's advanced defense systems and causing significant damage, including a fire and injuries to 14 people.

Israeli media reports highlight extensive damage to buildings near the impact site and reveal concerns about Israel's unpreparedness to counter threats from Yemen, both politically and in terms of intelligence. This operation showcases Yemen's growing military capabilities and strategic impact.

🇺🇸A US Navy cruiser mistakenly shot down an F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter jet over the Red Sea.

According to U.S. Central Command, the incident occurred during airstrikes on Houthi targets. The statement noted that the guided missile cruiser USS Gettysburg , part of the USS Harry S. Truman carrier strike group, mistakenly opened fire and shot down an F/A-18 fighter jet that was taking off from the carrier's deck.

Both pilots were rescued, one of them received minor injuries.

❗🇺🇸/🇾🇪 BREAKING: Yemen's Ansarallah has taken responsibility for shooting down an F/A-18F Super Hornet over the Red Sea

Statement: 'Our armed forces succeeded in thwarting an American-British attack against our country, as the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman and a number of its warships were targeted during the start of the the enemy's aggression last night against our country.

The operation was carried out with eight cruise missiles and 17 drones.

The operation, with the help of God Almighty, led to the following:

    - First: Shooting down an American F/A-18F 'Super Hornet' jet while the warships were trying to confront the Yemeni drones and missiles.

    - Second: Most of the enemy warplanes left Yemeni airspace for international waters in the Red Sea to defend the aircraft carrier while it was being targeted.

    - Third: The enemy attack on Yemeni territory failed.

    - Fourth: The aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman withdrew after being targeted from its previous location towards the northern Red Sea after being subjected to more than one attack by our missile force, our naval forces and the air force.'

In combat, even with the best radars available, the number of friendly aircraft and missiles and drones and the number of enemy aircraft and drones and missiles and ballistic missiles makes keeping track of everything difficult. (remember you will have aircraft and helicopters and drones and missiles going out but also drones and aircraft and helicotpers also coming back... and in amongst all this traffic you will have enemy drones and missiles trying to sneak in...)

Another factor is that flying very low makes you difficult to track so a low flying target might appear and disappear from the radar screen and when you see a radar contact appear very close to your aircraft carrier you often launch a missile and ask questions later...

When different ships are present with different IFF systems and codes determining what is friendly and what is foe is difficult... which is why aircraft and drones and cruise missiles fly low...

I think the axis should declare a truce and cease fire . The effort is not enough to force any positive outcomes for the Palestinians . This is a sad reality . All that is being done , is allowing Israelis a reason to strike back . The burden is unfairly carried by the poor nations and Iran alone  . This while the world does nothing , and the Arab Sunni states support Israel and Turkey land grab . The axis needs to operate defensively and have time to develop it's industry and militarily . They have to save themselves , before saving The world .

Iran and allied states need strong democratic non-sectarian governments . Any move by Shia Iran , even in a positive direction for the Arab states , is seen by Sunni Muslims as an unfriendly move . Iran's domestic and foreign policy needs to be directed by democratic and national forces . Iran needs a democratic Republic , national government .

🇾🇪/🇺🇸 Yemeni Army Welcomes US Strike Group! US Fighter Jet Downed!

▫Simultaneously with US airstrikes on Sanaa and Al-Hudaydah provinces on December 21, the Yemeni forces fired eight cruise missiles and 17 suicide drones at the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75) and other US warships in the Red Sea.

▪According to Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces, this attack disrupted the US-British coalition air operations in Yemen.

The operation also led to US warships mistakenly shooting down an F/A-18F “Super Hornet” fighter jet while trying to counter Yemeni missiles and drones.

    — Brigadier General Yahya Saree detailed the operation: “Most of the enemy fighter jets left Yemeni airspace to defend the aircraft carrier. The aircraft carrier retreated to the northern Red Sea after the Yemeni army’s attack.”

📊 This operation against the US Navy’s Carrier Strike Group 8 (CCSG-Cool is the 176th military operation by the Yemeni army against the illegal ships (Israeli, American, British, and their affiliates) in the Red Sea and surrounding waters of Yemen. The F/A-18F “Super Hornet” fighter is the first American fighter jet to be shot down in the recent conflict.

👉 It should be noted that Carrier Strike Group 8 led by USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75) consists of USS Gettysburg (CG-64), USS Stout (DDG-55) and USS Jason Dunham (DDG-109). Carrier Air Wing (CVW) with 6,500 crew entered the Red Sea on December 15.

The Yemeni armed forces’ operation in support of the Palestinian resistance against the Zionist regime began on October 19, 2023, in occupied Palestinian territory and along the maritime route from the Gulf of Aden to the Red Sea. This operation culminated in the seizure of the Israeli ship Galaxy Leader. The continuous attacks on more than 170 ships affiliated with Israel, leading to the suspension of shipping by Zionist companies through the Red Sea route.

🇾🇪/🇮🇱 Israeli media: The Israelis must get used to this situation, because the pressure tools that worked on other fronts don't really work on the Houthis.

▪The recent successful Yemeni attacks against Israel have dealt significant military and psychological blows to Israel. Additionally, Yemen's geographic distance from Israel, the absence of comprehensive databases on Yemeni political and military leaders for targeted assassinations, and the Israeli army's lack of effective long-range weapons, like ballistic missiles and suicide drones, have resulted in limited and ineffective Zionist retaliatory strikes against Yemen, failing to address the military tension with the Yemeni army.

Houthis likely shot down US F/A-18 over Red Sea — former Pentagon analyst

"We know the Houthis are war-hardened, extremely tough, smart, and motivated," retired US Air Force Lt. Col. Karen Kwiatkowski, said, commenting on the group’s alleged downing of a US warplane. "They have a variety of drones and hypersonic missiles, and they are fighting a long war for fundamental reasons, specifically to free the Arab world from Israeli, NATO, and US domination."

The Yemeni Ansar Allah group (Houthis) has claimed responsibility for shooting down a US Navy F/A-18 jet over the Red Sea on December 22. The US Central Command, however, stated that the warplane was downed by "friendly fire" from the guided missile cruiser USS Gettysburg.

This explanation seems questionable to Kwiatkowski for three reasons:

    1. The Pentagon typically avoids admitting friendly fire incidents due to the embarrassment. The quick acknowledgment after the crash suggests the truth might be even more embarrassing.

    2. The incident is being downplayed and underreported in domestic news, aside from the survival of the pilots.

    3. There is confirmed evidence of Houthi capabilities to hit ships, drones, and slower-moving aircraft in the Red Sea over the past 15 months.

How could the Houthis have downed the US warplane?

Kwiatkowski noted that the F/A-18 was struck shortly after takeoff, as it was gaining speed and altitude.

▪"It is likely that the countermeasures in the F-18 were not usable so soon after takeoff and at the altitude they were hit," she suggested. "Security for takeoff is the carrier battle group’s primary responsibility."

▪Additionally, if a Houthi missile attack was detected, it's possible that US defense systems were trying to avoid friendly fire. This algorithm might have allowed the missile or drone to find its target so close to the Harry Truman, within the US-friendly zone.

Why is the US Navy downplaying the Houthi missile threat?

According to Kwiatkowski, the primary reason for downplaying is that "the US Navy and Air Force are aging, overstretched for the types of global missions its politicians demand, and demoralized by both the politics of 'war' and extremely poor military leadership."

▪"The US Naval offensive posture – 12 nuclear Carrier Battle Groups with associated submarine escorts – has become a global target and a technological sitting duck," which are "hard to man, expensive to operate, and difficult to defend."

▪The needed changes are being resisted by current military and political leadership, according to the former Pentagon analyst.

"It is the end of this model, and a time for a new US military posture that matches its actual means and constitutional goals. And, dare I say at this time of year, a push for peace," Kwiatkowski concluded.

🇾🇪 IWN field sources in Yemen: the reports regarding a heavy attack by the Saudi coalition on the northern axis of Saada and northern Taiz—claiming the killing and capture of more than 70 Houthis and the subsequent escape of Houthis from northern Taiz—are not true.

👉 This morning, militants from the Islah Party attacked Ansar Allah positions at the air defense base and Al-Qari' height on the northern front of Taiz, but these assaults were repelled by Ansar Allah fighters.

▪A ground attack on Ansar Allah is considered to be part of a strategy by the US and Israeli regime aimed at reducing the pressure caused by Ansar Allah's missile and drone attacks on occupied Palestine, as well as addressing the naval blockade imposed on Israel.

▪In this context, American military advisors have consistently urged the Southern Transitional Council, Al-Amaliqa forces, Tariq Saleh, and other groups aligned with the Saudi coalition to initiate a military offensive against Ansar Allah positions. However, these efforts have not yet yielded results.

👉 It is important to note that the groups affiliated with the Saudi coalition lack the specialized capabilities and resources necessary to effectively engage Ansar Allah on their own. However, their combined forces and coordinated actions could pose a challenge to Ansar Allah.
