Power of Siberia gas pipeline completed by 90.5%, 1,954 kilometers built.

“Supplies via the ‘Eastern Route’ are expected to start by the end of next year, initial volumes are 5 billion cubic meters, which will reach 38 billion cubic meters per year by 2024,” the CNPC representative said on Thursday.

In May 2014, Gazprom and CNPC signed a $400-billion, 30-year framework to deliver 38 billion cubic meters of Russian gas to China annually. In 2017, Gazprom invested 158.8 billion rubles ($2.6 billion) in the project. This year it plans to invest another 218 billion rubles ($3.47 billion).

P.S. It is an extremely important project for both China and Russia. Russia will get an extra flow of cash and China will get a reliable, cheap and clean source of energy.

Great photos of CRAIC CR929 1:1 cabin mock up by Maryna Lystseva

    https://fotografersha.livejournal.com/1032887.html

Sino-Russian joint venture CRAIC is displaying a full-size mock-up of the CR929 widebody jet at Airshow China in Zhuhai.

It is the first time that the two aircraft manufacturers, Russia's United Aircraft and China's Comac, have shown a physical mock-up of their planned twin-aisle project.

China purchases 20 Ansat aircraft at Airshow China

The Russian helicopters holding announced the contact would be realized in 2019-2020

ZHUHAI, November 8. /TASS/. Russian Helicopters inked a contract for supply of 20 Ansat helicopters to the China Association of Emergency Medicine at the Airshow China exhibition, a spokesman of the Russian holding told reporters on Thursday.

"The Russian Helicopters holding made a contract for delivery of 20 Ansat helicopters in the interests of the Association of Emergency Medicine of the People’s Republic of China within the framework of the Airshow China international air show," he said.

Russian Helicopters plan to "validate a certificate in China and supply all helicopters under this contract in 2019-2020," Chief Executive Officer of the holding Andrei Boginsky said.

Helicopters will be handed over to the customer in a multipurpose build. Purchased Ansat helicopters when fitted with a medical module can be used to provide first aid and perform emergency evacuation of patients, including from areas with a hostile terrain.

The Ansat is a lightweight twin-engine multipurpose helicopter. It can carry up to nine people depending on the modification.

That article is amusing... a similar article about the UK US relations or European relations would reveal even more conflict, yet they seem to work together on the basis of the US says what goes and we do it... like little bitches...

What the article does not address is that Russia and China didn't decide to just be friends... both have been pushed and bullied and threatened by the US and the west and are finding a common hatred for westerners in their goals to progress and develop, so instead of looking west for friendship and allies they look at each other as being similar... their strengths and weaknesses overlap and together they are vastly stronger than either is alone.

The west has failed to divide and conquer... which could be abbreviated to the West has failed... because the west needs resources and cheap labour... Russia is both and China is the latter and both are growing stronger despite western interference and active measures to control them.

Interesting set of links there George... and without even opening them one thing leaps out at me...

The first 8 months of trade between China and Russia is 70 billion... which one would assume is trade in both directions, but Russian exports of poultry to China is to exceed 100 billion this year... how does that work?

Looks like China is going to stab Russia in the back. It's MSM now parrots NATzO propaganda about Russian weapons systems.
Such as the S-400 is not effective and the T-14 is crap.

Russia should let China get it up the rear from the yanquis. Clearly, they want it and want it bad.

Hardly stabbing anyone in the back.... they can hardly say the T-14 and S-400 and Su-57 are the best when they are trying to sell the same sort of things internationally.

To be honest a little... your stuff is crap argument between China and Russia would be a wet dream for those HATO useful idiots... they would just sit back and let each side berate each others gear... egging them on if they stopped to catch their breath...

Russia should let China get it up the rear from the yanquis. Clearly, they want it and want it bad.

Russia has no say in who China trades with and regarding military technology what country listens to other countries when making their decision... do they not test themselves any more?

Someone should tell them that all of their weapons are copies of old russian designs. And if S-400 is so bad, why did they spend billions to buy it?

Someone should wonder who benefits the most from such an argument...

Sorry, but your smug dismissal is not worth much. China is using its MSM to denigrate Russia. That is not some trivial and irrelevant thing. That is
straight out 1930s Nazi propaganda behaviour. Whether NATzO loves this or not has zero bearing on the fact that such Chinese propaganda is a
dirty anti-Russian tactic. When I go shopping for some product, I do not see dirty hate propaganda advertising by the various companies trying
to claim that the competitors' products are all crap. China does not have to use anti-Russia hate propaganda to sell its products. It needs to
    engage in better advertisement.

So my point stands, China's behaviour strongly points to a backstab. China is America's bitch in many ways. The yanquis are currently in the process
of using Covid-19 to financially and economically isolate China. I can see the Chinese elites who have been integrated into servicing NATzO markets
for decades throwing Russia under the bus to appease their primary customers.

I disagree. There is no free media in China. All journalists have marching orders. Russia, in spite of all the NATzO hate propaganda,
actually does have a free media. Much freer than in the USA and Canada with outright 5th column news stations and newspapers.

So the chorus of denigration in the Chinese media is approved at the highest levels.

I was always a bit suspicious about China's "alliance" with Russia. China sold its soul to the Devil in 1980 after Kissinger's
diplomacy in the 1970s. The "gang of four" show trial was the pro-west faction seizing power. China supported Pakistan
against the USSR during the 1980s and undermined the attempt to prevent Afghanistan from becoming a NATzO colony.
Economic integration with the west is not some trifle. It is the essence of power in China. Corrupt generals run large
companies in China and there is nothing communist about except for the one party rule and vapid state symbols.

China may have decided to strike an independent path but that was based on some emerging global configuration.
Covid-19 has given NATzO a pretext to terrorize China and bring its elites to heel.

Sorry, but your smug dismissal is not worth much. China is using its MSM to denigrate Russia. That is not some trivial and irrelevant thing. That is
straight out 1930s Nazi propaganda behaviour.

Sorry, I think you are going too far... China is not in the business of selling Russian gear and military equipment... why would they... they have their own stuff to sell.

Not singing the praises of Russian military gear does not make them nazis. For the most part it makes them wrong, but they are likely not interested in right and wrong... they are in the middle of a pandemic like the rest of us and are probably trying to stir up some patriotism and nationalism to motivate the workers... you don't do that by telling them what they make is second best at best.

Whether NATzO loves this or not has zero bearing on the fact that such Chinese propaganda is a
    dirty anti-Russian tactic.

    Business is business.

When I go shopping for some product, I do not see dirty hate propaganda advertising by the various companies trying
to claim that the competitors' products are all crap.

It is implied when they say their product is the best, or the best solution for your needs.

China does not have to use anti-Russia hate propaganda to sell its products. It needs to
    engage in better advertisement.

Think of it as flattery... they are comparing their own products to the best otherwise available... mentioning Russian stuff and not even mentioning HATO stuff is in itself a compliment...

So my point stands, China's behaviour strongly points to a backstab. China is America's bitch in many ways.

So Russian criticism of Chinese military equipment is not a backstab too?

China does a lot of trade with the west including the US, but China hardly does as America tells it all the time... even Russia cooperates with the US on some things.

The yanquis are currently in the process
of using Covid-19 to financially and economically isolate China. I can see the Chinese elites who have been integrated into servicing NATzO markets
for decades throwing Russia under the bus to appease their primary customers.

Something they tried and failed to do with Russia. China has more ties to the west and fingers in more western pies that could be lost... it is more vulnerable than Russia was, but fundamentally the west hates China as much as it hates Russia, so there is no long term future for China with the west anyway.

I disagree. There is no free media in China. All journalists have marching orders. Russia, in spite of all the NATzO hate propaganda,
actually does have a free media. Much freer than in the USA and Canada with outright 5th column news stations and newspapers.

I would agree to an extent, but ultimately American dollars are primarily used for bribing at all levels and everywhere.... Russia and China are not joined at the hip, and there is no requirement for either to cover the others back at any or all times.

You actually sound like HATO claiming Stalin stabbed Poland in the back during WWII... first with stealing Polish land, and then delaying their attacks to allow the nazis to wipe out nationalists that would have been a problem for Stalin after the war. The fact is that there was no friendship between Poland and the Soviet Union and the land the Soviets took in 1939 was land stolen from Russia in the 1919-1921 revolution.

I was always a bit suspicious about China's "alliance" with Russia.

What alliance? Where in the SCO does it demand that China be reverent to Russian weapons and not diss them on the international stage?

    Corrupt generals run large
companies in China and there is nothing communist about except for the one party rule and vapid state symbols.

They survived. I bet a lot of people in the west are frustrated with the election system and the lies politicians tell every election time to get your vote... wouldn't it be simpler if everyone who was interested in politics and voting could join the communist party that might be split into two main factions... lets call them democrat and republican, and just leave them to it... it doesn't matter who wins... it is just the same old shit over and over... with big money making laws to make even bigger money for themselves and no one else...

Covid-19 has given NATzO a pretext to terrorize China and bring its elites to heel.

They are certainly trying to, but China knows the west lies... they have the same history with the west essentially that Russia does...

They have just learned to use them better.

Russia's leadership needs to grow a pair. All of the countries in the EU that have been demolishing WWII memorials should have
been subjected to harsh sanctions including on gas supplies. Let them buy gas from America.

Keep selling it but bump up the price for specific customers.

What Russia should do for example is take a slice of land in front of Czech embassy in Moscow and erect a gold plated monument to Reinhardt Heydrich the Protector of Bohemia and liberator of Prague

I do like that idea... respond to their pushing your buttons by pushing theirs...

China, Russia should expand their cooperation into new spheres, says Chinese diplomat

According to the Chinese government’s special envoy for Eurasian affairs, two countries "jointly offset the so-called political viruses"

BEIJING, June 1. /TASS/. China and Russia have been supporting each other in the international arena and should look at developing cooperation in new areas, Li Hui, the Chinese government’s special envoy for Eurasian affairs, said on Tuesday.

"Our countries always support each other actively. We jointly offset the so-called political viruses," he told an online international conference of the Russian-Chinese cooperation. "We are facing new tasks, and for these ends, we must breathe in new ideas into bilateral cooperation based on the [bilateral] Treaty [on good neighborly relations, friendship and cooperation."

According to the Chinese diplomat, close cooperation between Beijing and Moscow in the process of combating the pandemic "has demonstrated to the world a brilliant example" of efficient and coordinated efforts between two big powers. He noted that along with, such traditional areas of cooperation such as the energy sector, the two countries should ramp up cooperation in new and promising spheres, for instance, in e-commerce.

"Our countries promote universal global security. <…> Understanding between the peoples of China and Russia is growing stronger, and our common goal is to ensure principles of general equality and justice," Li Hui stressed.

Putin lauds Russian-Chinese ties as example of intergovernmental cooperation

According to the Russian leader, the countries created a unique multi-level mechanism of bilateral coordination

MOSCOW, June 28. /TASS/. The Russian-Chinese relations are at their highest point, the ties between both states serve as an example of intergovernmental cooperation in the 21st century, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a videoconference with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping on Monday.

"Currently, following the letter and the spirit of the treaty [of Good-Neighborliness and Friendly Cooperation], we have managed to bring the Russian-Chinese relations to an unprecedentedly high level, converting them into an example of intergovernmental cooperation in the 21st century," Putin said.

According to the Russian leader, the countries created a unique multi-level mechanism of bilateral coordination, which includes regular contacts between leaders and heads of government, five intergovernmental commissions at the level of deputy prime ministers, dialogue formats between parliaments and regional organizations. "All this helps resolve any issues arising during cooperation between both sides and plan our future work," the Russian president said.
