daesh sent 15 VBIED into Ramadi in a desperate bid to salvage their collapse there. every single one was intercepted by Kornet missiles and Abrams tanks.
massive fail in their "redoubt"
26 qatari scumbags "kidnapped" in the south western desert of Iraq whilst they were doing their annual poaching and killing of Iraqi wildlife. Sad to see that it had to come to vigilante action to stop these qatari terrorist scum from enjoying themselves killing iraqi wildlife (in between funding terrorism of course)

Gunmen abduct Qatar hunters in Iraq desert
Source: BBC
Gunmen have kidnapped at least 26 Qatari hunters in a desert area of Iraq near the Saudi border, officials say.
The attackers were driving "about 50" four-wheel drive vehicles when they swept into the hunters' camp at dawn on Wednesday, an Iraqi source told the BBC's Arabic service.
They struck in the Layyah area, 130km south of Samawa, after arriving from Nasiriya province, the source said.
A wide-scale search has been launched for the attackers, police say.

Were they repainted? Because the Bulgarian Stocks are Soviet OD, not Green flash like the Czech and Slovak ones.
Could be the pictures though.

Iraqi Army Captures Strategic Areas of Anbar Province
The Iraqi Army and allied armed forces have captured strategic positions from the terrorist group in Anbar Province, in preparation for an assault against terrorist positions in the city of Ramadi.
The Iraqi Army and allied Popular Mobilization Forces have captured strategically important locations in Anbar Province from Daesh (ISIL/ISIS), which give them the positions to launch an operation to liberate Ramadi from the terrorists, Iran's Fars news agency reported on Wednesday.
"Daesh retreated from the areas around the bridge and the Iraqi government forces took full control over it after killing and wounding many terrorists," military sources told Fars.
According to the report, the Iraqi Army and pro-government forces captured the strategically important al-Tufaha Bridge over the Euphrates River south of Fallujah.
"Conquest of the strategic bridge will end in more isolation of the ISIL forces trapped in Ramadi," and enable pro-government forces to carry out an operation to liberate the city from terrorists, the agency reported.
"The commanders of the Iraqi Army troops and the popular forces operating in the Ramadi battlefield have held several joint meetings in Anbar province to coordinate each others' duties and missions in the final phase of liberating operation of the city," and are recruiting fighters for the operation from local towns and villages.
Ramadi is about 110 km west of Baghdad, and has been under Daesh control since the terrorist group captured the city in May 2015 following a series of battles with Iraqi government forces. Daesh took control of the city of Fallujah, 70km west of Baghdad, in January 2014.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Claims of a US airstrike killing more than 30 Iraqi soldiers are not accurate, US Defense Department spokesman Maj. Roger Cabiness told Sputnik on Friday. “This is not true,” Cabiness said when asked to confirm reports of the incident.
At least 30 Iraqi soldiers were killed and 20 others injured in US air strike, Hakim al-Zamili, the head of Iraqi parliament's Security and Defense Committee said earlier.

EDIT
Then a bit later he had to admit
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – The United States is gathering information on claims of US airstrikes that killed more than 30 Iraqi soldiers and will investigate the incident if the allegations are credible, US Defense Department spokesman Maj. Roger Cabiness told Sputnik. "We are aware of the reports and are trying to gather information now. As with all accusations of strike inaccuracy, we will initially do an assessment of the allegation to determine if it is credible," Cabiness said on Friday. "If the allegation is credible, we will conduct an investigation into the incident."
Earlier on Friday, the head of Iraqi parliament's security and defense committee Hakim Zamli told Sputnik that Baghdad will go to court over a US airstrike that killed more than 20 Iraqi soldiers and injured at least 30.
Cabiness first told Sputnik that the allegations were not true, but then said he had received additional information about the incident, prompting the US military to conduct an assessment.

No problem with munitions supplies
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The US-led coalition against the Islamic State, also known as Daesh, is not running out of munitions used to fight the terror group, Operation Inherent Resolve spokesman Col. Steve Warren said on Friday. "We have no concern whatsoever about stockpile of munitions," Warren stated. "We have enough munitions to conduct all the operations we need to conduct, as well as maintain a contingency stockade."

A bit more on the airstrike, looks more like a cock-up than anything else.
At the time of the airstrike, Iraqi troops reportedly were carrying out an operation against Daesh, also known as ISIL/Islamic State.
According to the Iraqi army’s command center in Baghdad, the strike was requested by Iraqi troops on the ground. The attack was launched without an update on the location of the ground troops, the command center said, and bad weather prevented air support from differentiating between Iraqi soldiers and enemy forces.
One Iraqi commander was killed in the strike and nine others were injured, according to the command center.

Re: IRAQ - Fight on Islamic State: News #1
Regarding the attack on Iraqi forces... they never change their game plan do they...
I remember when it was a US A-10 pilot that blew up a Warrior IFV... first it was denial... then they claimed the incident happened in the middle of combat in bad weather.
Eventually video footage was released showing the troops just before the attack and it was a clear sunny day with the soldiers sitting on vehicles wandering around getting kit together etc... ie no where near a conflict situation or bad weather.
I am sure after the investigation it will be some ethnically asian guy on an AwACS aircraft a few hundred kms away from the incident that is at fault...
(Note the only person prosecuted when those two F-15s shot down two Blackhawks with US officials on it was an asian american on an AWACS... but in this case no americans were killed so I guess they wont bother taking it to the level of needing to find a scapegoat...)
RIP to the Iraqi patriots who paid the ultimate price clearing their country of unislamic filth.

Re: IRAQ - Fight on Islamic State: News #1
the issue of friendly fire in the south falluja area is something that comes up time and again.
Iraqi pilots in both the air force and army aviation have direct contact with the soldiers on the ground and both speak iraqi dialect arabic so communications generally go off well and targets are well chosen and hit.
US and other coalition aircraft refuse to talk to iraqi soldiers (or heaven forbid popular mobilisation) and any targets have to be approved from washington before being struck...
effectively it means that the US / Allied air effort is generally a waste of time. But it does have some propaganda value "we're bombing isis" and when the iraqi popular mobilisation and other mainly shia and christian and anti-isis sunnis conquer cities the western media can write "local forces supported by US air power took the city"...
Its the same sort of reasoning that made the US offer apache helicopters and FACs for the Iraqi forces in Ramadi last week... (just after 80% of the city had been cleared in street to street fighting by grunts!). Pathetic @glory hunting@ for the western media and keep up the factoid of "iraqi losers cant do anything without our help".
Now why doesn't the US instead deliver to the Iraqis the 14 F-16IQs which are sitting in Arizona? Or maybe a couple thousand Mk82 bombs for the 4x F16s the Iraqis already have? That would be better assistance if their intention is to actually "help" in regaining land from ISIS.
