So.. the BREM-1M recovery vehicle cannot "pull" The Armata. I wonder if it can be used as indication that Armata's weight is above 50 metric ton (BREM-1's towing capacity)

Looks like the transmission is not disengaged. It would be stupid to drag a 50+ ton tracked vehicle since it requires an enormous
pulling force and would destroy the paving completely.

It was a transmission problem of some sort and later the tank moved off on its own. If it was really a mechanical breakdown
in the transmission it would have to be hauled away. So it seems like it was some sort of operator error.

The developers say. New tank is complicated, because the soldiers are not trained and are very worried. One of the developers of the tank without much effort started the engine of the tank, and the tank left on their own.

I really hope they change the case ejection door to the top like on other tanks, because that is flaw to have case ejection door on the armor itself especially with such a big gap.

Finally, someone with attention to details and a good CMOS and good-quality telephoto glass. Get your magnified glasses on, gents! Too bad it's not raw JPEG or neff, but it's good enough for a now.

Parctronic system for tanks. It was reported by multiple people from Moscow, that lid for a rear camera has 3 positions: closed and 2 open. It makes funny clicks when changing positions, beeping backing-up sound also was intact, ha. Cool

direct links work, and your uploaded photos now appear to me... but please can you always include the links in case photos don't work on the forum?

And on a more generic note, what most of you think about the T-14 vs other modern tanks? I mean, only tanks currently also in developement / testing, like the turkish Altay, the korean K2 or the japanese Type 10? Somehow too, to the latest variant Leclerc?

turkish tank looks really solid... Could be a real problem for caucasus if turkey and russia ever have a conflict of interests here. Turkey doesn't really like russia, and participated rather largely in funding and helping north caucasus insurgency... Not talking of old crimean wars between two countries that still leave a mark today.

Why would russia fear a tank from turkey?

Russia has enough technology to destroyy anything on the battlefield without even the need to send tanks.

Artillery, helicopters, jets, if necessary Smerch and Iskander.

Let's not kid ourselves here, Turkish armor doesn't strike fear into anyone...Smerch rocket artillery + Zoopark-1 artillery radar would mop the floor with any Pan-Turkic armored column, no need for T-14's, and God forbid they break out any SRBM's like Tochka-U, let alone Iskander-M, I mean Smerch by itself is already overkill...

So apparently for what i can understand after google translation ,is that what happened
in victory parade was that the conscript soldier driving armata , by accident pulled the emergency
brakes , and effectively the tank responded as was asked to do ,a full lock of the tank  motion, then he later panics after the tank stop and began to pull any switch he saw in the tank
to try to make it continue running ,and he then turn off the electronics of the tanks , to a manual mode ,and from there it only began to get worse.. The Towing tried to pull the tank with breaks on , which could have damaged the transmission .but then one specialist came later and fix the tank..  But then the RT mediocre report , confuse more ,because it made it look the tank stopped
then restart , but 15 minutes later stop again..  and no more information given as how the tank left the place..

so thanks to RT mediocre journalist we have now 2 versions..

1)The tank stop ,then restart ,then 15 minutes later stop again..( but what happened next?  Neutral )

2)Or the visual version + guessing version of the full video. that is the tank stop for 15 minutes,
then someone try to tow it and fails , and later specialist from the company get to the tank
turn it on quickly and the tank leave.  Which is what you see in the video..

Yet RT report the tanks stop after 15minutes it restart.. but do not provide film evidence of the second stop. So if i had to guess the #2 version is correct.. you can even see in the video the tank was locked its tracks because could not even be towed ,a clear indication of inexperience
of the people operating the tank. So it looks the Conscript soldier was trying to drive the armata
tank with the Emergency breaks on. Laughing    This is strongly a possibility because in the video
you see the tank resisting to be pulled by mini truck designed to tow tanks.

So until now it looks like inexperience of the driver of armata the cause of the halt. but is only
the information until now we have. not yet confirmed by any official statement from minister of defense.

God what an idiot, get rid of this recruit ASAP. I bet he is a menace on the roads too, the kind of driver that changes
lanes without looking in response to something in his lane ahead.

The clowns who tried to tow it without verifying its gear status should be reprimanded also.

The propaganda damage is done. But who cares, propaganda won't save NATO.
