    My two cents;

1 - 20th regiment may be the unit in Syria... number unknown
2 - reminder that planned deployment by the end of 2020 is 28 regiments. That means 4 a year to complete.
3 - have not seen a S400 regiment arrive complete. They start off with the radars and C3's of the HQ plus 1 battalion of S400. They command original S300 battalions of that regiment for such time until other S400 battalions arrive.
4 - this makes it difficult to count S400 battalions accurately
5 - it is possible there are 21 regiments as there was some confusion in the unit numbers back in 2016 if you remember, or there may be a training regiment at Ashuluk.
6 - it almost appears that the S300V's serving in Air Defense are going back to Ground Forces control. Rather or not the Regimental numbers are transferring also remains to be seen. (Kaliningrad and Sakhalin) Also would not be surprised to see the S300V unit in Birobidzhan revert to it's original 203rd AD brigade name and under Ground Forces control.

Still leaves 148 SA.400's to come and the SA.350 was to start production this year.

now after 3,5 years we have 328 S-400

Do we have figures for S-300PMU and S-300PS?

As said by ult, the English wiki of Federation MIC is notoriously unreliable (for obvious reasons). For future reference click the Russian language version, and use a machine translator. Also there's 432 launchers:

    27 / 54 / 432

Out of those 27, 2 regiments have been delivered ahead of schedule and have yet to be on combat duty.

I'm a little dubious of that 432 launcher figure as the original planned total to the end of 2021 was only 448.

I'm sure they will keep on producing as that total was just the planned number by the end of the 2011-2020 acquisition period.

You have to account for launchers delivered early but not taken on duty. You have to train personnel before you can put people behind the machines, their not autonomous devices.

Anyone knows how many older version of s-300 russia has in operation and in stocks ? Earlier than PMU-2 and VM.

Could they give them to some countries to "infest" them with russian hardware and thus oblige them to have contracts with russia but in a nice way. Countries like Brezil, argentina, bolivia, iraq, angola, egypt, phillipines ...

    1 system for each country.

Would it be a good move ? They are all financially fucked and trying to get better. Early s-300 are still very good against 4th generation fighters and allow to watch their airspace preety well. Once they get used to them and get a better situation, sell them s400 and mig-35.

Or maybe include one system as a gift for every contract that is more than 1 billion.

Thanks, makes sense. Did you ever hear of a unit name for the S400 in Syria?

One system on its own could easily be overwhelmed... especially if operated by badly trained or unmotivated forces.

If Syrian experience has shown anything it is that a fully IADS means rather more than the missiles being used, though obviously the better the missiles the more effective the system would be in blunting any attack.

Well they would have access to a very good radar for peace time.

The idea is more about giving and training foreign crew so they get used to russian hardware and buy new ones. No military consideration, just business.

Replacing then in 10 years those s-300 by russian system is easier and cheaper than with other systems.

Analysis of the ID plates of first leaked fotos (2 years ago) of 5P85S2 show that the first four TELs came from 549 AD RGT.
I personally don't think that the meanwhile 8 TELs (at two sites) are an independent RGT but deployments from existing ones.

BTW: 1544 RGT: look at 58.217255° 29.078285° (google 31.7.18) - wonderful clear view of 91N6

This list is missing the 588th in Samara (Central-UBO) and the 1724th in Sakhalin (Eastern-BBO) which are the last 2 units to convert. Scheduled for 2 more regiments this year but not sure of locations plus the first S-350 regiment is scheduled for this year.
