So can any of our Serbian members tell us what is happening with the protests in Serbia? It sounds like pro EU protests from what Western media is saying.

Yep, opposition protests are pro EU, but the government is also pro EU. They all have the same boss in Brussels and Washington, the only difference is some are grabbing money and privileges and the others don't have any, but they want them so bad.

What you see on TV is limited to downtown Belgrade AKA Liberal Rectum of Serbia, it's a non-event outside of that area
Only reason I know about it is because I saw it on BBC
Outcome will be that they will let them walk all they want until mob gets impatient, rowdy and starts breaking stuff at which point cops will start breaking skulls
Situation is funny because you have pro-EU government in power and pro-EU opposition protesting
In government you have LGBT prime minister and right wing defense minister (among others) while that particular opposition contains both Soros cultists and closest thing we have to Nazis

I agree. If someone in the West needs chaos in Serbia, he will make it very fast. I personally think this is only preparation for the eventual major event, if it would be needed.

Balkan inmates are the lowest lives in the whole planet. I don't even think they deserve to be called humans.

Re: Serbia Breaking News:
The explanation for the protests is simple...Serbia and Bosnia (only due to the opposition of the Rep of Srpska) are the only ones in the region outside of Nato. They are now in a hurry to close the Balkan chapter which they've left unresolved since the 90's. There are also protests in the Bosnian Serb republic at the same time, using the murder of a young man as a pretext. If they can topple the Bosnian Serb president, the opposition will not block the entry of Bosnia into Nato.....then all that will be left is to finish off Serbia.
Russia has started being more present in Serbia in the media sphere and economy in the past few years but it's still a small fraction compared to Western influence and machinations. Putin is suppose to be visiting Serbia next week and we;ll see if anything more substantial is announced.
I was watching an analyst comment on this and he thinks Serbia is not top priority for Russia in terms of resource allocation. He sees the Middle East, Ukraine and the Arctic as taking prcedence.....I think he is probably right

Problem lies in the historical precedent set by the former leaders of Yugoslavia. They tried to play both sides, their people paid dearly for it. Similarly the Romanians played the same strategy, and their leaders were eventually crucified. Simply, you can't sit in 2 seats at once without risking falling flat on their asses.

Any. I am very curious
Well for starters:
-EU may be considered dipshits universally but fact remains that they are ones with money and for most people EU=free money. They win simply by proximity. However everyone is open for alternatives should they show up.
-NATO is not happening. Ever. No way in hell. No money on this planet that could pay for that particular project. And NATO is not offering anything remotely enough for anyone here to change their mind. That well is permanently poisoned. Best they will get is Austria style neutrality.
Even suggesting NATO as an option is instant and permanent political suicide as several politicians who are supporting those protests have already learned.
-Russia is awesome but are way too far. Until something changes it will be status quo.
We have quite a few here who favor officially siding with Russia but they always do same stupid thing with their approach which pretty much boils down to:
Step 1: ditch EU in favor of Russia
Step 2: ???????
Step 3: profit
And when asked about step 2 they give you blank stares. Not good enough in my (and a lot of else's) book.
-Race and LGBT: nobody cares if you are not being dick about it.
Example is our PM: she does her job and is not being douchebag about it. She is considered alright and is actually popular.
Then you have those generic know-it-all holier-than-thou ultraliberal sellout traitors who are considered lowest forms of life.
As for racism, theres barely any of it. And those that do have racists views only have them until they actually meet other races. I will use my mother as example:
She despised blacks and asians with religious fervor. Then Chinese started moving here and she actually met them face to face. Now Chinese (and I assume other Asians) are alright in her book and are great folks.
She still says stuff about black people that would make David Duke blush but that would change the moment she would actually meet black person. I mean I heard more banana jokes this week alone than most people do in a decade.

Middle class= We are not slav subhumans, we can be part of the german superior race
Low class= Take an EU passport and get the f&& outta here, cleaning stairs in Europe is a great career prospect
Young men= You cannot penetrate anyone, this is act of aggression!
Old men= Ditch orthodoxy, islam is progress (lgbt also)
Clergy= We were fine under the othomans, at least there are not the Moscow patriarch
All women= F@@ these losers there is no hope, I will play it diva
Albanians= What a bunch of losers, we don't even need to try with them

Many the people in many non-West nations don't have time to dig deep in history, political and social sciences, they just see that Western World are developed countries while they are not, they don't understand how the West become developed countries (for example how British Empire make money on blood and bones of Indian people).
They don't understand that USSR collapsed is because traitors like Gorbachyov and Yakovlev backstabbed the Soviet people, betrayed the socialist idea, they just think Soviet lost, the West won, socialism didn't work, U.S. is invincible.
They don't understand that Pol Pot regime had nothing to do with Marxism or communism. They believe in Western propaganda about these events.
Especially in some countries where the superstructure is corrupted, high-rank officers accumulate huge wealth and use that money to buy estates and send their relatives to America or EU... that condition nurtures the false conception of "invincible West". In short people are upset with their current situation and they think that "follow the West" may be a solution, without knowing that "free West" are just fake news made by Wall Street propaganda.
There are also things like there is conflict between neighboring countries... then the US stick its nose in and say to one side "I will help you defeat the big bully" and the pro-West clowns will say "follow American words, if not you are traitors, you are not patriotic...". Nobody wants to understand that the U.S. government are just war-mongers who offers no help.
Buddha once said, all crimes and sins originate from ignorance. The problem here is how to tell the truth to the people. Political and social science is actually very complicate but without understand them people can't resist against Western propaganda. I think the issue here is difficult.

You wave 20 USD bill in front of average Serbian face and he will do whatever you have in mind. That is btw how much you get to vote for certain party in Serbia day before elections. They literally pay you 20 USD to vote for them.

Even people that earn well, like... you know, there is no need for them to sell their vote for 20 bucks. They just do it for...well...reasons.

Re: Serbia Breaking News:
Well if it is anything like here... we have two main parties that can hold power, though often they need a coalition with a tiny party to get a clear majority because each is as bad as the other... the old saying that politicians are like Nappies... both need to be changed regularly and for the same reason... getting the support of a few minor parties can help a less popular party hang on to power a little longer.
They say what they like to get in and then do what they like knowing they will really have to screw things up to get kicked out in 4 years time.
And then a year before the next election they start being "nice" and doing some of the things they promised... half heartedly normally.
Most people who don't vote, don't vote because it seems pointless... the people they can vote for are the problem... if you offered them 20 bucks to vote they would probably do it too.
But once they are in the voting booth they could vote for anyone... who knows?

Serbia will never be part of NATO, even if it is the only non-member European country, the country’s defense minister, Aleksandar Vulin, said during anniversary events of the 1999 NATO bombing of former Yugoslavia.
Vulin said on Saturday that Belgrade has chosen to be militarily neutral at all times.
