Strategic Missile Forces received 11 Yars and Vanguard missiles in the fourth quarter (last three months) of 2021
MOSCOW, January 20. /TASS/. In the fourth quarter of last year, the Strategic Missile Forces received 11 intercontinental ballistic missiles of the Yars and Avangard complexes, Deputy Defense Minister Alexei Krivoruchko said on Thursday.
"The re-equipment of the Strategic Missile Forces with modern models of weapons and military equipment continues. In the fourth quarter of 2021, 11 stationary and mobile-based ballistic missiles Yars and Avangard were received," Krivoruchko reported to Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu during a single day of acceptance of military products.
Also, he added, the troops received four mine and three autonomous launchers, two mobile command posts and seven combat duty support vehicles.

Russia to put 2nd regiment of Avangard hypersonic missiles on combat alert by yearend
According to a source, the second regiment will assume combat posture in the Yasny missile formation
MOSCOW, February 11. /TASS/. The second regiment of UR-100N UTTKh intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) with the Avangard hypersonic warheads will assume combat alert in Russia’s Strategic Missile Force before the end of 2022, a source close to Russia’s Defense Ministry told TASS on Friday.
The second regiment of Avangard hypersonic missile systems will assume combat posture in the Yasny missile formation, the source specified.
"Under the existing plans, the second regiment of Avangards will assume combat alert as part of silo-based launchers and a command post of a regiment of the Strategic Missile Force’s 13th missile division approximately in December 2022," the source said.
The Research and Production Association of Machine-Building (part of Tactical Missiles Corporation), the developer and manufacturer of Avangard hypersonic missile systems, declined to comment to TASS on this information.
It was earlier reported that the first regiment of Avangard hypersonic missile systems of the Strategic Missile Force’s Yasny division (the Orenburg Region) that went on combat alert with two silo-based launchers and a command post in late 2019 was brought to its full strength by the end of 2021.
Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said at the single military output acceptance day on January 20 that the first regiment had been fully rearmed for Avangard ICBMs with hypersonic boost-glide vehicles.
The Avangard boost-glide vehicle is capable of flying at a hypersonic speed of up to Mach 27 (about 32,000 km/h) in the dense layers of the atmosphere, maneuvering by its flight path and its altitude and breaching any anti-missile defense. The Avangard hypersonic weapon was first mentioned by Russian President Vladimir Putin in March 2018.

I believe it to be 6. The first regiment was formed with 2 units per year for 3 years. The second regiment is scheduled to be complete in 2 years so would assume production goes up to 3 units per year.

The Strategic Missile Forces (RVSN) have begun re-equipping the next missile regiment of the Yasnensky missile formation with the Avangard complex, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
“In the Orenburg region, work is underway to re-equip the Yasnensky formation of the Strategic Missile Forces with the Avangard silo-based missile system,” the department said.
In June , the commander of the Strategic Missile Forces, Sergei Karakaev, on the air of the Military Acceptance program on the Zvezda TV channel, said that one regiment of Avangards was serving in the troops in full force, the second was preparing to intercede.
Avangard is a strategic missile system with an intercontinental ballistic missile equipped with a gliding hypersonic winged warhead.
For the first time, the development of the complex became known from the message of President Vladimir Putin to the Federal Assembly on March 1, 2018. Then the head of state noted that the winged unit moves towards the target “like a meteorite, a fireball” and carries out deep maneuvering, which makes it absolutely invulnerable to any means of air defense and missile defense.
In January, the Ministry of Defense announced the receipt of 11 Yars and Avangard missiles in the fourth quarter of 2021.
