guaranteed to be posturing as simply put, Venezuela is going to curb the amount of illegal traffickers around that area. Propt up now with the ongoing economic troubles.

Guyana it was only because they thought that the US would support the military but left them alone ahahah, Venezuela sending patrol Navy to the disputed area

Due in part because the majority of Latin America/South America came out in support of Venezuela after the U.S. State Dept. declared Venezuela a threat, plus sanctions. The U.S. govt feared greatly at the idea that their whole 'backyard'
would unite against Uncle Sham.

one of the few good things of venezuela is its military
i once wrote like 8 months ago on MP.net (under my pseudonym "olivenbaum") a MASSIVE strategic piece what would happen beetwen a hypotetical war scenario of ecuador and venezuela against colombia, researched for it like 20 hours analyzed the geohrapucal terrain, the locations of military bases etc. etc. and it was clear that while ecuador is no threat to colombia what so ever venezuela is extremly dengourous and could actaully overun a great part of colombia if a surpirse attack is succesfull made trough Valledupar
to bad since the mp closed my artical has gone with it
