This is more of a story about a hot headed commander and a bunch of so called "soldiers", rather then evidence of Russian troops in Ukraine.F-15E wrote:Murmansk contract soldiers complain of being forced to fight in Ukraine

So you're telling me Russia is stupid enough to send soldiers who did not volunteer to Ukraine? LOL and nice website would have some credibility if it did not have these three things at the end (.ua)

A claim by Nazis, especially when repeated by RIAN, can't really form the basis for anything.
So you're telling me Russia is stupid enough to send soldiers who did not volunteer to Ukraine?

More like they are trying to keep the forum as civilized as possible due to this massive crisis. I don't blame them for banning me for a couple months, I was briefly a mod for a Enemy Territory clan forum and while fun, it was annoying trying to keep the idiots from tearing the forums apart; must be way harder for a military forum that focuses on current events.

The irony is that NATO wants Georgia to join, but Sockpuppetshivili is a wanted criminal on the run and would face trial in his native Georgia, thus alienating and straining a Russophobic alliance between Ukraine and Georgia.
This is highly reminiscent of how the U.S. Navy is goading Shinzo Abe of Japan to be more hawkish and militant against China; but at the same time his historical revisionist and grossly (disgusting even) distorted and inaccurate views about Japan's involvement in WW2 has now thoroughly alienated and strained the relationship between Japan and South Korea, which is a key U.S. ally in the Pacific.

Russia doesn't need to send anyone to defeat the Kiev government forces, the Ukrainian rebels could defeat them on their own if they had the right equipment.
If the US sends weapons Russia should send weapons too.

MOSCOW, February 15. /TASS/. Presidents of Russia, France and Ukraine, Vladimir Putin, Francois Hollande and Petro Poroshenko, and German Chancellor Angela Merkel had a telephone conversation on Sunday to discuss the implementation of the complex of measures on peace settlement in southeastern Ukraine signed by the Contact Group earlier in the week, the Kremlin press service said.
