    Look at this drill in Crimea;

Is that the Iskander cruise missile variant? - Nevermind, it is a coastal defense system...

Actually this would be the most fortunate thing happen to pure Britons since magna Carta.
At least they can finally become a democracy like Russia.

Western govts have made it clear that they claim Russia is "expansionist" and wants to take the Baltics, the Warsaw Pact AND anywhere else.

THe fact that unlike the Crimea, Poland, England, Bulgaria etc is not 90% Russia is ignored by them.
As is the administrative history + referendum regarding the Crimea.

Its just like "we must arm Muslim radicals (ie ISIS) v evil Assad" and "Saddams WMDs could kill us all in 15minutes". Just concocted bullshit.

Post ww2 and post cold war was built around the American political system and the American society with the political and economic elites of the respective European countries not only allied but practically imposed from the trans Atlantic overloards. Used to it and try to overrule it. Whining simply doesn't make sense.

When you struggle against Western hegemony, you are labelled "agression".

When you slaughtered, bombed, burned and beheaded people for the sake of Washington DC, you are called "freedom fighter".

Love it at 7:59 how the old women decieved Zaharcenko to show that he doesn't know what he's fighting for, basically he's been brought to his position to sign anything Surkov and Poroshenko agree over.

NO truce will hold.. The only reason there is a truce is for Russia pressure on the rebels..and Europe pressure on Poroshenko.. But US and and its loyal cronies ,specially the baltic states and poland will fuel the conflict to last forever . So Russia will be forced to Increase the military help to novorossiya and in the end they will only get
their Independence when they capture by force all Lugansk and Donetsk Territories. It will be a brutal war and that
could go into a world full scale mercenary proxy war. Exactly as what it is now Middle east with ISIS. NATO could create an army of 100,000 criminals gangs from jails ,and send them to fight to Eastern Ukraine.

Only way the war can be stopped fast is total collapse of Ukie economy and that the Ukie army split in half and rebels against their own government. Also the killing of Poroshenko and army leaders and nazis in Government. But im afraid NATO could literary rule Kiev directly if that happens.and the ukies will be so dumb to follow orders from a foreigner that cannot even speak Ukrainian or Russian well.

Putin major failure in all this is not explaining the Rebels ,exactly the reasons for their moderate policy. You have strelkov still wanting to go to kiev and do not understand why that is not a good idea... strelkov is a good military leader but not an expert in geopolitics and negative consequences not only for Russia but for Ukraine to take kiev by Force ,when majority of Ukrainians in those cities wants to be part of Europe . No invasion into any place can hold if the civilians reject it.. IF Rebels try to conquer more zones that the ones they had a referendum.. they will end not only fighting ukie army but civilians loyal to kiev.

This is the major problem of Ukraine their indecision. their conformism , you had thousands of miners working for a misery salary non stop for the first months the military operation began..and it was not until there was no more electricity and their mines bombed that they joined the novorosiya cause.  So Ukraine will be on a civil war endlessly until Ukies realize that as long NATO controls kiev ,they will have no progress .   But they are too dumb to realize that.. looks like only when at least Donetsk and Lugansk is fully Controled by the Rebels guns and hold the place is when the war to continue no longer will make sense. This is why is really important that any take over of territory in Ukraine by force have to be backed by civilians support there.. The ukrainians can only stop the war in a week by Rebelling in other cities against Kiev.. but so far they don't do it.. In mariupol about 40 gradmas were holding a government building.. in Odessa they never took guns , same with Kharkiv. Ukrainians conformism is the problem. They will follow whatever leader is at the top as long they are paid enough for food . Im afraid the war in Ukraine will not end for a very long time ,years until Ukrainians wake up ,and realize how they are being fooled and used to fight Russia and that NATO only wants to use them as meatshields . Because they do not help their nation economy.

NATO should’ve been buried at the end of the cold war: instead, the NATO-crats went on the offensive – breaching the understanding reached by Western leaders with then Russian leader Mikhail Gorbachev – and expanded into most of eastern Europe.

I also suspect that the War In Ukraine will provoke major changes in Russian society , and Russia will become rightly for authoritarian country . Since they are in a state of war in an undeclared war by US . They will have to significantly increase the militarization of Russia , and the level of monitoring in society.. Something similar to CUba.  And i don't see medvedev becoming the next President of Russia if , the Ukrainian conflict still is not solved and many civilians continue to die every day. Either a hardliner could come to power and push for a War with Ukraine and level to the ground kiev capital with its leadership until they stop the war against eastern ukraine.

That said.. the factions pro USA in Russia will become more and more a rare thing.. and the average society will want a more stronger policy against USA .. even if that means a direct confrontation and war with them.

But not all is doom and gloom.. In the long run Russia will be fine , Their movement of their markets to Asia will save Russia economy and will actually become much more stronger than it is now..Helping Russia to become a truly free and independent nation..no longer dependent of colonies of USA for its economy. Im very optimistic however that Russia is not going anywhere ,other than forward ,same with China and India ..but in the near future or medium term it will be painful the civil war in Ukraine with western sanctions.

That said.. the factions pro USA in Russia will become more and more a rare thing.. and the average society will want a more stronger policy against USA .. even if that means a direct confrontation and war with them.

But not all is doom and gloom.. In the long run Russia will be fine , Their movement of their markets to Asia will save Russia economy and will actually become much more stronger than it is now..Helping Russia to become a truly free and independent nation.. Im very optimistic however that Russia is not going anywhere ,other than forward ,same with China and India ..but in the near future or medium term it will be painful the civil war in Ukraine with western sanctions.

    come on....

My comparisons with CUba is in the level of militarization.. not on its politics or economy. ie.. mandatory for every adult to pass a military training. and tanks and military convoys and drills at all times.. With a full monitoring of society.
