Absolutely.. the virus covid-19 is real.. Stop drinking? They nearly killed each other when they were forced to quarantine in government provided housing. Two idiots got into a knife fight from what I heard.
Also, 44 of those cases are medics that are currently sick. There was a critical lack of staff before the virus started, this will simply kill the current health system.

We have five confirmed cases, all idiots to arrived to Moskau, lied through their teeth as to where they had been, and came down here 'because Sevastopol is virus free'. All food and drink stores and kiosks are under strict orders that all workers will be in masks and gloves for the duration. Very strong price controls are in effect for the last two weeks and already one shop near us is closed and sealed by Militsiya for violating the price controls. Hospitals are on a war footing from the last week. All leaves cancelled, retired doktors, nurses, lab techs and even medical school students are ordered to report for duty. It will be ready in less than two weeks. Another one is to be built on our north side but I don't know where or if construction has started.
All military were ordered to report two weeks ago. All living off base, mostly officers, were ordered to report and stay in base or on ship for the duration. Bases are locked down and security is tight.
All tourist reservations are stopped and current reservations may be cancelled, depends on how brave Government is and which company, large and small, has made the reservations. Tourists currently here have been invited to leave, not ordered....yet. 'Guests', our friendly visitors who have not followed the registration regulations are being strongly advised to leave. Cars with other region numbers are being stopped by DPS and Militsiya and questioned as to who they are, how long they have been here and why have they not registered.

Quarantine works if everyone is in quarantine 100% of the time. If everyone still can go outside to buy food ... then everyone will go at the same places and share the virus and then share it with the family which members will go buy food and share it too and it keps going. It is only slowing the propagation but not stoping it.
Massive testing and preemptive treatement with chloroquine which has good effect in the first days of contamination is the appropriate answer.

So the official numbers are all low-ball. They are at best just based on the tests done. Since, by definition, not everyone is tested the pool of actual infected is larger.
This applies to Russia as well. And Trump is right, the high case load numbers in the US are due to extensive testing. In this regard the US is better than Canada.

The Canadian & Mexican borders r closed for a week now for non- essential/goods transport travel. But more potentially infected Ukrainians crossed back into Ukraine where they'll infect more Russians still there, some of whom will return to Russia legally or illegally- that border is easy to cross over fields & forests.
