Your current tolerance with Turkey and intolerance with the Kurds is not well balanced, and is not rational, is not based in the reality of the facts.

    Are you Turk?

No. Don't love the Turks, specially if you dial history 60 years of so back. But you gotta understand the great game....and in that great game, Turkey is a big, great prize.

Kurds will not allow Russia in their territory, if Russia stays silent or joins Syrian-Turkish attack on #Efrin

    https://twitter.com/vvanwilgenburg/status/877956749910822913

Is that a thin veiled threat....sounds like one, reads like one.... "protect us or else"..... how about NO.

#Efrin journalist Jihad Abdo says there is an embargo by all sides on Efrin: Assad, Nusra, FSA, & Turkey.

    https://twitter.com/vvanwilgenburg/status/877945654886019072

Syrian Kurdish officials start campaign #SAVEAFRIN on social media.

    Propaganda.

Notwithstanding the fact that anything you disagree with you call propaganda...

May I ask. Propaganda by whom?

This clown wouldn't even be able to find the word referendum in his vocabulary if not for the fact that the U.S gave the OK and is currently supporting such thing. The hard part is out of the way for the Kurds per say...now they have to sell the product to willing buyers, like the E.U and dumb buyers duped by any promises that hold no water in this world - Syria, Iraq, Turkey, Iran, Russia.

    "God given right"....that salesmanship.

There is not doubt that the Turks want this attack, but this is only propaganda because goes not in line with what Russia, Syria and their allies have been doing in relation with the Kurds.

Obviously there is a lot of intoxication to provoke a war of Russia and their allies with the Kurds, but is failling. The goal of the intoxication is to burn every option of good understanding of the Kurds with Russia and their allies. Interested on it? US, Israel, Turkey,...

What can do the Kurds to Russia that has not done the Turks before? To allow to the US to put nuclear weapons in the Kurd territory targeting Russia? Sorry but the now "cool" Turks did it before, and keep doing it. There is not a serious reason from a sincere pro-Russian thinking by this way. The serious pro-Russian people blame not the Kurds by what they have not done, and pardon not the Turks as easily with what they have done.

There are other reasons under all this propaganda. It is obvious for me and for all without other interests.

The only reason that's not the case is first and foremost because the Kurds are not an independent state and, unlike whatever it might seem to you - they don't formulate foreign policy in the territories they reside - at least not an important decision like that one. If you think for a second that in the pecking order for the Kurds Russia is above U.S.A you're clearly a fool - and I hate to use that word for civil discussion. Who cares if the Kurds get pissed with Russia? The players that shouldn't get pissed with Russia for failing to act and containing the U.S w/ the pro-Kurdistan push are Iraq, Syria, Iran and to a lesser extent Turkey (to build stronger ties - baby steps). Why in hell should Russia bend over for the Kurds and go contrary to the legitimate interest of other established states to please the Kurds so that one day, IF the Kurds get an indepedant state, the Kurds, out of generosity and friendship, will decide not to host U.S bases and missile shields in their territory to please Russia. It has worked out well in Eastern Europe. Give me a fucking break. What you do is you prevent the Kurds from ever getting their own state and you don't have to deal with the "what ifs" nor worry about future developments 20-30 years from now in that regard. Moods change with the wind my friend. Today we're friends, tomorrow we're enemies - just the way it's. If a Kurdistan ever exist, it will be the result, in large part, of U.S hemorrhaging the region and wanting it to exist....not because the Kurd's struggle was this massive upheaval of a Kurdish identity in the Middle East. The plans are clear to everyone and appeasement and diplomatic support by the Russians will only further this agenda of theirs.

Every time Putin speaks about the Kurds he says a lot of nothing and refers to international law as his diplomatic scapegoat tactic - the law that says the legitimate government of the country decides whatever the fuck they want. None of the states with Kurds want a Kurdistan. So that's that.

Your current tolerance with Turkey and intolerance with the Kurds is not well balanced, and is not rational, is not based in the reality of the facts.

Yes, the possibility exist that Turkey will be the next bloody battleground between the U.S and Russia if Turkey decides to flip.

US but also Israel have a common practice of hiding /covering/minimizing their real loses..
in a war or batlefield. So what you posted is interesting because "coincidences"
does not exist.  They do that a lot.  Just look at the last Israeli attack on Syria with 4 planes.
on palmyra base. Syria major general staff army claimed that shutdown one plane.. of them and damaged another. using 4 missiles. and a Russian citizen in RT commenting on the attack of Israel on Syria told  the Russian Mod Confirmed one Israeli plane went down and fall on the rebels controlled zone in Souther Syria.  the Foreign minister of Syria told in United nations to
the Israel delegation.. "that was a message from Putin". Israel government in the other hand
denied..they lost a plane.. and Russia Government officially media in english remained quiet .

This all means ,is very common that at times either NATO or Israel hide and cover their
loses with either denying it or by saying it was an hardware failure etc..  You all saw the accident of an F-16 not long ago in USA ,when taking off? a "hardware malfunction".. was the official word, now you see another "accident" with a Predator drone.

What all this means ,is that whenever you see an accident of a plane.. helicopter ,specially one that either US ,NATO ,Israel or also Russia use in syria or another conflict. There is always a possibility that the real lost happened in Syria or IRAQ or Afganistan , but they just covering it.. by saying it was a "mechanical problem" ,that caused the plane or hellicopter to crash. somewhere else. The predator crash in California is suspicious to say the least. and same with the F-16 too , that was reported recently too ,to have an "Accident".. According to Israel government official sources ,they lost two F-16s consequences of "hardware malfuction" while training. So if you see sources saying a nation plane crashed here.. but later the official reports .. no no it crashed at home but it was a "mechanical problem". . then there is a major possibility they just covering the incident. US ,NATO ,Israel but also Russia if need to cover
something to minimize the Public relations damages , is very possible they will do it.

Syrian Army will not halt operations in west Raqqa despite US interference

BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:15 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) will not halt their operations in the western countryside of the Al-Raqqa Governorate, despite the U.S.’ recent attacks on their air force near the key town of Resafa.

“America’s aggression will not stop our mission and we (Syrian Army) will keep fighting terrorists as long as they are in Syria,” a military officer told Al-Masdar on Thursday night.

Since the U.S.’ attack on the Syrian Air Force, tensions have remained high in the western countryside of Al-Raqqa, as both the Syrian Arab Army and Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have exchanged hostilities on more than one occasion.

While these issues will likely dissipate between the government and Kurdish forces in the coming days, the constant interference by the U.S. Coalition has forced the Russian military to get involved in this part of the country to ensure the former does not continue to meddle in the Syrian Army’s operations.

Anyone who cant see the reality that PKK or any other affiliated group like YPG PYD or what the hell they are called works for US interests is geopolitical blind and secondary options for PKK/PYD are no more.

US pursues an anti Turkish policy still despite Turkey being a NATO "ally" and hosting nuclear bombs "for US against Russia". Those old B61s are Cold War era heritage and no more. But some of the users still insist that Turkey is hostile to Russia just because those antique bombs and an airbase, and this idea is clearly nonsense.

Almost everyday Russian ships are passing through Bosphorus to supply Syrian threater of Russian military and if Turkey was hostile enough it would easily have a series of obstacles for Russia for that passings and even US would be happy for that!

Problems in Syria and Iraq are directly existential issues for Turkey whereas Russia and US are there for just - to be honest - imperial eager. None of them host 3 million refugee nor direct threat on their borders. If you talk about Turkish aggression in this region know your place and do not come up with shitty and nonsense conspiracy theories which explain nothing but headlessness.

    More Turkish propaganda.

With US nuclear weapons targeting Russia in your territory and talking about the Kurds.

US nuclear weapons in Turkey, bahhh nothing...
US military bases in Turkay, bahh nothing...
2000+ US soldiers officially in Turkey (9th country with more after Japan, Germany, South Korea, United Kingdom, Italy, Afghanistan, Bahrain and Spain), bahh nothing...
    Turkish NATO partnership, bahhhh nothing...
Half of the Turkish Navy being US ships gifted, bahhh nothing....
    F-16, bahhh nothing...

But the Kurds will have Sovietic man-portable mortars of 120mm  payed by the US, that will retire them after the war with ISIS. This is what really matters, this is a real military advantage uhhh what a danger for Russia...

Kurds cant pose a military threat for Russia, and yes, Turkey can, but, foolness is not because not understanding this, it is because to hope Kurds can work for Russia while they are under full US control.

If this would be true, now it would be a war between the Kurds vs Syria. And there is not. The Kurds are only at war with ISIS and Turkey.

My only concern is about the shape of advance by SAA against isis . It seems too ambitious . You can not eat a big meal in one bite . You need to take many small bites . Chew you food . Why not go from palmyra to Raqqah . Clear out rats from smaller area . Close the gap in front lines . Your front lines then smooth out . Presenting smaller contact area with enemy . Means more concenteration of troops . Further advances also by smaller bites .

In Iraq , there are areas of isis control . Deep inside government captured territory . They should have been cleared by now . Before further advances in front lines . The government in Syria needs to work out who to target after all the rats are dead . Rules of engagement that prioritises the weakest yet most vicious foes , holding the most valuable territory . Decision on who to target , depends on different forces cooperation to allow safe passage to government troops to secure borders . And on cooperation on political level .

Turkey should cooperate with Syria to put border controls in place . And in identifying separatist elements . And destroying them together with Syrian government forces . And not targeting en masse all kurds . Or use excuse to occupy territory . Turkey should not support groups that do not have a democratic and national character . A break up of Syria means a break up of Turkey .

The danger exists , that SAA advance against rats goes ahead . Along border areas . But pockets remain . And also other terror groups like nusra , then launch offensive from north and south . And cut SAA forces off from Damascus . So opposition forces in the south aided by yank and English . Must be caged in . By strong defensive lines . And also reserves must be made ready to counter any offensive by them . While army is stretched to the east . SAA must have accurate information about troop levels in these areas . And any yank reinforcements in Jordan or Saudi or Turkey . To do a surprise .
